Walking around town one always ends up at the Plaza the España where one can sit around the fountain or have a drink on one of the terraces nearby, while admiring the old buildings, well renovated in the old style

This is pretty much the centre of the town and is a lovely place just to stand and stare. It also has a lovely hotel, restaurants and shops around the plaza to stay, eat or drink.

This is a lovely white hilltop town to visit, its is so nice to walk around the hilly narrow streets. There are plenty of bars/restaurants and nice little shops to visit. The plaza is a very popular place for relaxing and taking a holiday pic

The centre piece of the fountain is a beautiful work of art. The tile work is very good. If you have time, it certainly worth a second look

In contrast to Some other villiges or cities we’ve seen in the region, Jerez de la Frontera is very well kept and taken care of. It’s a beautiful white village and I think a lot of the richer Spanish people come here on holiday. The...More

The Plaza is a charming little round place almost like a raised terrace around a delightful fountain with its tiling reminiscent of Sevilla & the large, elegant lamps. The ceramic frogs which spout water are a discovery for young children(not clear if they are symbolic...More
