One of the many stunning buildings in this fascinating old town. Nearby is the municipal history museo which is extremely interesting and worth a visit.

Not sure if it’s normally open. We were there on a Sunday and it was closed. The architecture is beautiful from every angle

The church wasn't open to visitors when we were in Vejer, You'll easily find it while you're out and about exploring the town. It's pretty because it's in a nice setting in a very picturesque town, so it adds to the atmosphere.

This church building design is typical for this region. Christian built on top of Muslims. Church is very simple - not as fancy as the ones in the big cities

This lovely church sits above the town and provides cool shade and a delightful setting. People sit in the shadows and talk, others admire its soaring architecture and others just loiter but its also worth going in...it has some impressive features. This is just an excellent place to be in a Fairytale town

This building has the changes and transformations of reliligions and civilizations, and it is still there. We visited it with a local friend who knew everybody in the village. The church seened to be very much alive and a very important site to the local community. It was a vivid document of the history of Vejer and, of course, of the history of Andalucia.

Only saw it from the outside as the church was closed, but the building is wonderful, with so many architectural styles. Beautifully tiled spire, and amazing stonework. A real masterpiece.

We ran into this church while walking the charming streets of Vejer de la Frontera. If you are at the Arco de la Segur, turn right onto El Postigo and walk around the Church. The address is Espagne, Calle Ntra. Sra. de la Oliva, 1, 11150. It's beautiful and worth seeing, especially due to the history. The original tower was destroyed in the earthquake and the newer tower is shorter. Construction of the church built early XVI Century. The church was built on a former mosque. The interior is also beautiful, but closed on Sundays. Winter has more limited access, but less people.
