This is the second best beach in Maupiti (the other one is on the outher Motus). It's of easy access and allows safe swimming and decent snorkeling. It can be crowded on week-ends. Chez Mimi is just in front of it, for a good lunch...More

Tereia is a nice little local beach. Is it worth coming all the way to Maupiti for, instead of Bora Bora? No, because Matira Beach on Bora Bora is actually a better beach in a number of ways. But it was nice enough to make...More

This beach is gorgeous! The colors of the water are amazing and constantly changing. The beach is quite spacious and usually almost empty, so you can have it almost to yourself. You can walk from there to the motu across the lagoon (about 20 min)....More

Lovely place and great beach. The best lagon in all French Polynesia. Try to swim at the sunset surrounded by the coconut trees and the birds.

The beach is nice but the water is very shallow. You can walk across the lagoon. The water is therefore very warm and not refreshing

A wonderful beach positioned in a corner of paradise! It is easy to find, and most important is not full of people and you can relax there without any bother!

Nice beach to suntan or wade in the water, but far too shallow to swim. Good, cheap Snack (fast food) located right on the beach. Possible to walk all the way to the Motu on the other side of the lagoon - just watch where...More

Tereia Beach has warm, clear water and dazzling white sand. You can walk from Tereia across the lagoon to a motu where you will probably be the only human on the beach (we met some very nice dogs along the way). Good snorkeling can be...More

Crystal clear water, never gets more than three feet deep and you can frequently spot rays and black-tipped reef sharks.
