The location was about 30 minutes from Ruteng and we must continue by walk about 10 minutes up the hill. After arrive on the top we can see an amazing view of rice fields that really like spider web. There were many spider webs and each belongs to a family/village. On the gate we met an old man who told us the whole story why they maintain the spider web tradition.…

Nice to see if on the area. Short 10 min walk with steps and grass track to get the view. On our way back down a man & his son stopped us to go into their house, we did but it was just to sign a book and Donate 20,000 Rp per person. Inexpensive but didn’t feel authentic. Great view from the top, unlucky with the time of year as it was not as green and lush as other times of the year …

The spider-web rice fields were stunning and definitely worth my time visiting it. The colours were vibrant and the sun perfectly positioned correctly for excellent photography. The high school students that were there chatting with me added the day even more worthwhile. They were inquisitive and tried to help. Be ready to sign their books and smile on the selfie shot with each of them 😍😍😍.…
