Indiana seems to not cherish its historic sites. Finding this one is difficult enough, my gps did not recognise the name nor the town! But maybe that's because it is abandoned. A recent Sunday drive took us to site that was once an amazing place,...More

It's a good place to visit. Love the sound of the water and watching the wild animals. The peaceful and quiet when the festival is not there. Takes you back to simpler time when you can hear yourself think no trains or traffic.

If you can make it to the festival in the fall it is totally worth the drive. There are vendors, food, and beautiful scenery. We have been for the past 3 years and I enjoy it along with other locations each time.

Interesting to see...disappointing that it was closed! A few of the towns around these bridges are uninhabited during the off season. Word has it they will be bustling during the bridge festival!
