We have booked an excursion to hunt aurora by van and highly recommend Juki Tours. The big advantage of this company is that we were able to communicate several months in advance the different dates when we were available. So we were able to complete the tour on the day when the conditions were best, which allowed us to witness a fabulous show. Moreover we were only 6 people in the van, and we went on a private lake, quiet and without light pollution.
The second big advantage, the guide takes pictures with a professional camera. This service is included in the price. It is a comfort to enjoy the show while having quality photos!

Since it was very cloudy in Levi, our guide drove us (a small group of 5 persons) to a place 30 km northeast, where we could indeed have a good view on the Aurora borealis. The guide had a professional camera on a tripod and afterwards we recieved a link to download the fotos taken, so we could concentrate on enjoying the view. My tip: Dress appropriatly, it is getting could out there.

We were still able to book the tour at relatively short notice. We had a super uncomplicated and nice contact with Jukka in advance.
Our guide, Rosa, picked us up very punctually as planned and off we went. We didn't have to drive too long until Rosa said there were some little Auroras in the sky. Rosa had the perfect feeling! After a short wait, we stood directly under a Northern Lights stream and could observe the pulsating Auroras above our heads.
Rosa took a lot of pictures of us - and of the Northern Lights, which we got the next day as a download.
When the show ended in the sky, we went even further and looked for more Auroras there.
Rosa was perfect as a guide for us with her nice and open-minded nature. We felt completely comfortable and could just enjoy the Auroras.

The Aurora Hunting tour was amazing! I was informed on time about the best day to go according to the options I gave and on the day of the tour everything was perfect from the beginning, our guide took us to the best spots to have the best experience, he was very kind and patient and took plenty of pics to make sure everyone was happy when capturing those moments on camera. I definitely recommend Juki tours, they are professional and will make sure you have an amazing experience.

There is no other words to describe our experience with Juki Tours than Magnificent.
It was our first time booking with the Juki Tours for our first time Aurora Hunting.
Jukka requested us to provide as many days as possible in order to maximize our chance to see the Northern Lights and we gave him a couple of dates.
A day before we arrived in Lapland, Jukka sent us a message which informed us the "best" date to see the Northern Lights - as it is a natural phenomenon therefore it is unpredictable.
Jukka sent us his colleague, Simon who guided us on that day; He was so patient, friendly and very informative. Simon knows the best areas to spot the Northern Lights and fortunately it was a great success. Simon who is also an Astro Photographer knows the best spots to take some photos with the Aurora as our background and the results were marvelous.
I strongly recommended to book Juki Tours for the Aurora Hunting ! Kiitos !

We had booked for the day 5/01, but as Juki tours indicates, they themselves will notify you if it is good day or must be postponed. In this case, it was time to postpone the trip until 10/01, our last day. Every day Juki spoke with us and had us updated on the situation. Finally, on the 10th, we made the excursion. It was spectacular. Juki was right from minute 1. The rest of the days it was cloudy and you could barely see anything in the sky, but on the 10th, it was almost always clear. Our guide, Rosa, an example of a worker. He took us to the first location and PAM, aurora as soon as we got out of the van. Afterwards, we spent an hour watching auroras, taking photos and videos and enjoying nature. When it got cloudy, I decided to change to another place, but it was also cloudy and after consensual with the group and holding for about 20 minutes to see if it cleared we changed places again... and during the trip by van, Rosa noticed the great auroras that were there, stopped at a safe place on the road (not the spot we were going to) and we were seeing spectacular auroras. Giant, various colors (pink and green) and with a lot of movement. Finally, we went to the 3 point but there was no longer so much activity and returned for the scheduled time. We saw the best auroras of the season thanks to Juki's advice to expect and Rosa's experience and good work. She is also an exceptional photographer.

Thank you so much!! We are from Hong Kong couples who celebrate honeymoon. Aurora is so amazing and magical, juki is very hospitalility, leading us to Aurora road. He is very good point of view of Aurora and let us see the beautiful view and take fantastic photos. Also, warm berryjuice is warming us too! We are really recommend and want to join again and again!!

I took the northern lights tour with Juki tours in January. Rosa took our small group to a frozen lake where we already saw aurora on the sky. However what happened two hours later was out of this space! I saw the northern lights for the time in my life and it was an unforgettable and emotional experience. Aurora got very strong and lights were dancing and twirling on the sky, while playing with all colors of green, red and purple. It was truly amazing show. Rosa took a lot of beautiful pictures which are already framed and sitting on my table. Thank you so much for this exceptional experience!
