I can't recommend this experience enough. Our children are aged 5 and 8 years, and I'd booked directly through their website for 29th November.
We were met at the end of a snow covered forest track by 2 elves with lanterns, who proceeded to take us on a magical tour around Santa's fairy lit cabins in the forest. We were the only ones on the tour and so it was so personal, and worlds apart from the commercial experience of Santa Claus Village.
We began at Elf school, where the elves helped our children to make a Christmas card and taught them some Finnish! We went on a tour around the elves cabin before sneaking up to Mrs Claus' window, when we were invited into the warm cabin (which is EXACTLY how you'd imagine!).
Mrs Claus was superb, really took the time to talk to our kids, asking them questions and showing them photos of her and Santa when they 'were just 200years old'! We then went to see the man himself, great Santa and as planned, had the children's Christmas lists that they'd thought they posted back home, ready on his desk (I'd slipped them to one of the elves).
We then enjoyed gingerbread biscuits and warm berry juice, sang Christmas songs before wishing them a farewell, and being walked back up the track by the elves.
If you're after a magical, uncommercial and personal experience, this is it.
Thank you so much to the elves, Mrs Claus and Santa 🎅🏽!

Beautiful location in a wood by a frozen lake. The elves are fantastic as is Santa Claus however Mrs Claus stole our hearts. My 2 daughters loved her. If you want a less commercialized Santa Claus visit set in Finland's more remote but very beautiful forested and snowy countryside with no queues or souvenir shops in sight then this is the one for you. We traveled here as part of an overall 3 day package from Ireland and loved the simplicity of the visit and the hospitality of Santa, Mrs Claus and they elves with their funny stories for the kids.

Not sure how this only has 3 stars, the place is magical.
After reading reviews on the main Lapland Santa experience in Rovaniemi, where people mentioned crowds and queue's we thought we wanted something a little more authentic and less commercial.
The Santa Claus Levi experience was amazing from beginning to end. We may have been lucky as there was literally no one else there but our family.
The amazing Elf Anna met us as the end of the beautiful drive, walked us down to the Elf's houses and gave us a tour of the eld workshop, school and houses.
We then went on a magical Reindeer trip, led by Rudolph's cousin Vitti.
After that Anna showed us how elve's sneak around and we creeped up to Santa's house and spied on Mrs Claus knitting in the living room. We must not have been good at sneaking though as she spotted us and invited us in for a warm juice and gingerbread cookies.
She knew everything about our Son and made sure to drop bits in to conversation with him.
Then she invited us to come meet the big man himself, who was just like a postcard Santa.
They couldnt have been more lovely, warm, friendly and engaging.
If you are on the fence then go for it you will not be disappointed.

We book privately through their website and not through an organised tour I should add, which is likely why it was just us

This is a must to visit if your in levi. It really was a beautiful setting in the middle of the forest the most amazing winter wonderland ever. So much to do here and see everything was so magical. The little huts scattered around, elf school, gingerbread making, atleast a 10min private meeting with father Christmas (our children will never forget this),reindeer rides & log fires and so much more.

Went to Santa Claus village on a Thomson coach trip. The coach party was divided into two groups and went around the village visiting the bakery to decorate cookies and letter writing to Santa in the post office. The final visit was seeing Santa himself. Each individual party meet with Santa in his room for about 5 minutes,he was probably one of the best Santas if have ever visited. The trip to the village was ok but it was a very cold day and there was a lot of waiting around as we were in the second group. Small children would love though and you can see several reindeers too. Maybe better going in a smaller group so don't have to stand around the cold.

Written January 27, 2020
I would like to know if it will still be possible to visit Santa in January 2020 . Our original visit has had to be moved because of an accident and surgery for our grandson . ( yes we know that Christmas will have already occurred but just wandered if santa does a bit of overtime sometimes)
