My husband and I did a half day trip with Eagle North. Michael was a terrific tour guide and we learned a lot about the area. We learned how to do a surf entry which was really fun. Great stories of shipwrecks and a nice tea break on the shore. Highly recommend this to anyone in the area!

We signed up for the morning "Atlantic Fisheries" cycling tour and thoroughly enjoyed it! As we were the only people signed up that day, it essentially was a private tour. Over the course of 3 hours, we biked mostly on backroads (hardly any cars) with just a short ride on the Cabot Trail (busier and without a functional shoulder). Jennifer,... More

My wife and I went on a three hour kayak tour led by Jennifer and it was hands down one of the best parts of our trip to Cape Breton. Jennifer was a great guide and was full of knowledge not only on kayaking but also on the land and it's history. This is a trip that is accessible to... More

Jennifer was a great tour guide! She had everything we needed to be comfortable while going out on the first kayaking tour of the season. We paddled out to sea and she was able to easily help us out whenever we needed a little guidance. We got out at a beach and she had tea and oat bars for us... More

We planned our trip with Cabot Trail adventure, as a part of 3 day Cape Breton adventure.! Oh Boy, hell of an adventure was it with Michael. I and my friends (all beginner kayaker) were a little excited and nervous about sea kayaking but Michael gave us proper instructions on what and how and when to do and what not... More

It would have been a perfect afternoon, had it not been for the threatening lightning storm sweeping around the Cape Breton Highland hills. We were out on the water with Michael, heading for the mouth of the harbour and enjoying the opportunity to kayak in near perfect conditions. This is a magnificent place to do this. But Michael and his... More

Myself and my son did the half day sea kayaking and half day cycling in August, and It was the highlight of our trip to Cape Breton. Michael was a great guide with just the right mix of information and anecdotes. Jennifer's oatcakes were superb and their children are delightful, such a lovely family and very welcoming. Tucked away in a charming spot on the north shore of Cape Breton, the highlight of our 10 day car trip was an afternoon with Michael and Jen. Made us feel right at home in the bay and stopped along the way to share stories and insights. We got a real sense of the region and lifestyle from them and... More

My wife and I (mid-60s) really enjoyed our time with Michael. Anyone can do this and he is very safety conscious. In fact, the ocean surf was up a bit our day with him and he kept us in the calm Espy Bay. It would have been a five If we (I) could have gotten out on the ocean but... More

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour. While getting out on the open sea is an amazing experience, your safety is our main concern and sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate. Thanks again, all the best! Michael More
