We loved the place. Very peaceful!
The explanations and the teaching of Benigno where really good.
The view of all the city of Panama is espectacular. VERY, very Recomended.
PS: if you like to be with yourself, and in a quiet place, with the rest of the universe… this is the place.
Go properly dress, at least with long pants.

The centerpiece of the sanctuary ceiling appears to be arabic writing and is the exact same symbol as is the sanctuary ceiling centerpiece of the Chicago Ba'hai Temple in Evanston, Illinois. If you magnify this ceiling centerpiece symbol, both of them read 'Evil' in English and appear to have a symbol of an an eye directly under the word. Is this intentional? And, do all Ba'hai temples have this same feature, and if so, why?

This temple is a very peaceful place to visit. It also offers exceptional views of the city. It takes about half an hour to get there from downtown Panama. We were the only tourists at the temple when we arrived and there were only two other people there at the time.

I've lived in Panama for 7 years, and always saw the bahai temple from afar. It was always on my bucket list of things to do. So finally I went, and was happy I did, but there's really not that much going on up there. It's super peaceful and zen, and there's a beautiful view of the city, but that's about it. What was kind of annoying was that you're not allowed to go anywhere on the grass, but only inside the temple or outside within the paved sidewalks. My girlfriend and I wanted to sit on the grass and get a better view and just relax in the peacefulness of the place but we were yelled at and told to go back to the permitted areas. There's a beautiful grass area that you would think they would allow you on as long as you're respectful but oh well. Nice place to go to pray if you're into that as well, saw a few people doing so while there. It's a cool place, but certianly not a must-see place if you're visiting Panama.

An incredible place. Not easy to find but well worth the trip. Sit in the middle of the Temple and feel the incredibly strong energy surrounding this unique place, you can literally sense a soothing vibration in your body. After, admire one of the best views of Panama City from the Canal to well past the Tocumen airport on a clear day. My favorite spot in Panama.

The Bahai Temple sits on a mountain top and can be seen from many areas in and around Panama City. A visit to the temple is definitely worth a trip up the mountain. The architecture is amazing. The structure is both simple and elegant. Within the temple, one feels a great calmness which contrasts markedly with the traffic chaos at the bottom of the mountain. In addition, there is a wonderful 360 degree panoramic view of Panama City and the surrounding areas through the nine entrances to temple.

High above Panama City the Bahai temple had an immediate mellowing effect as the final stop in our week in Panama. It's a welcoming location and perfect to see the city and reflect. We were there for the Sunday morning gathering, and were warmly welcomed at the social hour after the service. If you know nothing of the Bahai's, they have some helpful displays in the library that provide a quick orientation to one of the world's newest expressions of humans seeking to understand God and faith.

The Metro was at the bottom of the mountain. We chose to take a taxi instead for first trip. The road up was very narrow and scenic. The Temple has an adjacent information center and library. The murals explained the faith and took you by photos to other Baha'i temples throughout the world. The temple was open air and the breeze while praying and meditating was wonderful. A great destination for wayfarers to joyfully surrender to Higher Power.

Continental Bahá’í house of worship of Central America in the city of Panama at the crossroad between north and South Americas as well as pacific and Atlantic Ocean.
Unique view of the city, most amazingly calm and peaceful.
Unique architecture with open structure allowing air to run through the main hall and creating a very special atmosphere.
Place for worship and meditation for all cultures and believes weather religious or not.
A must visit when in Panama City. Very easy to reach with the metro to the end of line 1 in the north (st. Isidro) and then follow the indications in the metro station itself to the main entry down the hill. Free shuttle up the hill to the House of worship (see picture with time table).
