Me and my friends were scamed by a company (it top tours) that organises tours to the bleu caves and to the shipwreck. We payed for a private boat for 8 persons, but when we got there, there only was a big tourist boat. We were told to still go on the tour and we would get a small amound of our money back. When we were back from the tour, the owner of the company didn’t want to give us a refund and it even went to the point the lady almost fight me and my friends. We are still students without a lot money and payd dubble of what the tour we did was worth. if you are in Laganas do not go to this company! We weren’t the only one that got scamed, two French girls we were on the boat with were told the same. This company scams people!

Visited the Blue Caves as part of a tour including the Navagio (Shipwreck) beach, with Theodosis Cruises from the small bay of Agios Nikolaos on the east side of the island.
The tour took us to two locations. One is a large enough cave for the whole boat (capacity 50 persons) to just fit in. The second location is closer to Agios Nikolaos were the visitors were given time to jump into the blue waters and swim into the caves.
At this location there are steps leading from the road leading down to the sea caves area so one can go by car instead of paying for a boat tour.

We had booked to go to Shipwreck island but the sea was too rocky, so the skipper suggested the blue caves. I was so disappointed because one of the reasons that I chose Zante was because of shipwreck island. The blue caves were absolutely amazing and I’m so glad that everything happened the way it did. It was absolutely breathtaking and we loved every minute.

Travelled via a TUI organised guide to see the Blue Caves in the North of Zakynthos. A great example of local geology creating beautiful effects. While this tour saw no swimming, there were places to swim along the coastline from both land and by some boat trips.

As one of the main attractions it is worth seeing if you are here (though there are other examples of blue caves elsewhere around the world)

As part of a “package” tour, we visited the Blue Caves on our way back from Navagio Beach (via Potamitis Brothers). We were able to enter about 5-6 caves, with some being a tight squeeze & others being rather large, although after the first few, they all started to look the same. They were pretty interesting to see however if they hadn’t been included in our Navagio excursion, I doubt we would’ve paid or gone out of our way to see them.

This is a once in a lifetime trip to the most photographed place in the world. I found that the pictures on the internet are not photoshopped.
As you can see from mine, the waters are actually an iridescent blue. The lst picture shows the color at the waterline. Find a small boat tour and they will take you right into the caves.

Beautiful place to visit. Crystal clear blue water, opportunities to swimm, we were lucky to have very good service on the boat. It s a beautiful trip for water lovers. The weather has to be really nice and not windy to have the best experience.

If you've never seen sea caves before these are worth a visit.
However they are nothing really special, most costal countries have sea caves even the UK so I feel they are a little over hyped.
We went on a boat trip to see the caves and the shipwreck so it was included.
I wouldn't bother again as we were there for 10 mins max.

Wonderful place to visit. We were on a boat trip, we stopped at the caves to see and swim in these clear, turquoise water. One of the most beautiful attractions in Zante. Awesome natural caves, arches. Absolutely recommended

Completely spontaneous trip - in that we saw the booth selling tickets for the boat trips to the caves, and thought why not…? I know a lot of Mediterranean countries have their own blue caves & grottos - but it’s interesting to see them up close & personal. Suspect the skipper knows the caves like the back of his hand, and manoeuvres in & out of them extremely skilfully. The water is incredibly clear, and all shades of blue, and you can see fish and other sea creatures at some distance. There was even a stop for swimming ( which we weren’t prepared for) and the youngsters promptly stripped to their cozzies & dived off into the cool depths - lucky them. It was all good fun & quite enjoyed it.
