ASMANA Wellness World, the biggest Day SPA in Tuscany, is a romantic resort of pure relax, a few minutes from the center of Florence. Various pools indoor and outdoor with all kinds of water attractions, a selection of themed saunas with regular wellness and relax ceremonies during the day, an entire oriental Hammam world with steam baths, a soap bath and other relaxing and fun attractions, lots of themed relax areas indoor and outdoor, terraces and gardens. ASMANA also offers a pool bar to enjoy the sunset drink in the water, a bistrot and a restaurant with a refined, innovative and seasonal cuisine. Staff speaks perfectly english. Large structure which does not require any reservation. For massages please call beforehand. ASMANA a perfect hangout for an entire day or for a few hours before or after sightseeing, to relax in a romantic setting in Tuscany.

Amazing place and very reasonably priced. Lots of things to do, all included in the entrance fee.
Excellent food and drinks.

I had a fantastic massage by a Romanian masseuse gentleman (sorry I forgot his name) and I wish I could tell him it was the best massage I’ve ever had. Thank you!

Perfect spa for relaxation

A perfect place for relaxation, especially as a couple. The place is only for adults , which makes a calm atmosphere. Price for 3 hours was 39€ per person, which includes the sauna treatments as well. Coconut peeling in hamam was great! Great selection of saunas and pools, also a nice waterfall room to enjoy the rain :)

A definite go-to place if you are around. Worth the money and a great way to get out of the city!

So good we went twice

We were in Florence for a long weekend and decided to visit this spa as we’d missed out on our summer holiday this year. The initial appeal was adults only to swim and relax in peace. A previous reviewer explained how to get there by bus which was very helpful, I would just add that the next tram stop after Santa Maria Novella is called Porta al Prato Leopoldo where you cross the road and catch the 30A bus. (This is NOT the Airport tram line) Other than that the instructions were spot on. It’s quite a long journey to the Limito stop but you don’t have to walk along the busy road if you turn left when you get off the bus and follow the path down the side of the park. I’d seen a special offer for Asmana for September but I’d not booked on line so the very helpful young man at reception helped us to purchase the offer using our phones. The changing rooms were very clean and the wristband system works extremely well. We spent 4-5 hours in the spa on each visit and it really ticked all the boxes. We enjoyed drinks at the bar, the food was reasonably priced and easy to access. The wild river rapids were great fun - wait for the big jets! Various bubble pools and a waterfall grotto are not to be missed. After dark the atmosphere changes as the lights go on and the steam rises - it was beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. Covid restrictions meant wearing a mask inside (not whilst in the pool) but generally we did not feel this spoilt our experience and we felt very safe with everyone abiding by the social distancing rules. It was very hot whilst we were in Florence so our 2 trips to the spa were a very welcome break from sightseeing. We found all the staff helpful and friendly. Remember to take you flip flops, towels and a robe although they can be hired. Check the bus times back (we didn’t and ended up waiting a long time). There is one just before 11pm and the next one I think was 12.30am!. Admittedly it’s an effort to get to Asmana if you don’t want to pay for a taxi but we thought it was worth it. No pictures as phones are not allowed in the spa. Bliss!

Asmana is amazing, very relaxing, well priced clean and professional, with an amazing selection of pools, relaxation spaces and Saunas, even though the steam rooms were closed due to the pandemic, there were plenty of things on offer, my favourite was definitely the grotto with the waterfall, the salt water jacuzzi pool and the whirl pool. The drinks were also very reasonably priced. All you need to bring is a swim suit, flip flops and a towel - maybe a smaller towel too as you have to bring one to sit on in the sauna.

The only draw back was the journey there and back - if you can’t drive and don’t want to pay €70 for a round trip in a taxi your only option is public transport which is mostly easy except for the 15 minute walk from the bus stop which is pretty gruelling - especially in the Tuscan heat. The thought of having to do it again to get back in the city was looming at the back of my mind for my entire day there. I think it would really be worth Asmana offering some sort of coach/shuttle service from Florence or even the bus stop - I’d happily pay an extra €10 or so to not have to do that walk again.

We loved it. Very nice wellness, clean, good prices, nice people. Beautiful pools and sauna’s, we had a nice massage. Would absolutely go again!

Amazing day at the Spa

This was for my birthday present whilst we were staying in Pisa. The spa itself is stunning with its outdoor and indoor pools and sauna's with a view of the mountains. The Bilingual staff at reception were extremely kind and helpful and spoke to us in both french and english. The Place was very cheap to use for 4 hours and so we stayed for 5. the extra wasnt even 2 euros each. we were happy to rent the towels ect. once thing to note is the bill ended up very high, and i think this is from using the cafe inside the spa- we didn't see any prices for what we were buying, it just adds on to the bill on exit, something to watch for. Can't really fault the place too much apart from that, we had an excellent time here and the facilities are amazing!

This was hard work in the heat and involves walking on the side of a very busy long road.(it was very hard after being so relaxed in the spa) I'd recommend getting a taxi from here or just paying to get directly from Florence- definitely worth it! Relaxing spa day in an amazing setting

Whilst on holiday in Pisa, my girlfriend booked this for my birthday present. The Bilingual staff at reception were extremely kind and helpful. We wanted a break from walking round Florence and it was recommended by our hotel when we asked... make sure you check the website before going so you don’t have to pay the extra fees to hire things such as towels, it says slippers but we used flip flops and so did must other people there... we paid for the full day and it was worth every penny and without paying for extra treatments there are plenty of facilities to use.
The food in the restaurant was lovely and was great value for money. It costs 25 to 30 euro in a taxi from the centre of Florence

Amazing spa day

After looking online for some spa places local to Florence I came across this place thought we would try it as the reviews were good. It was amazing! Just like a 5* resort. Facilities were excellent and so clean and tidy. It was €24 each for 4 hours and extra half hours over that time were charged at €1.50 per person. You can also buy a full day ticket for around €30. Make sure you take a towel each and some flip flops otherwise you will have to hire them. Bathrobes are €8 each for the duration of your stay. We were so impressed with all the treatment rooms and the pool was very warm! There was a 'rapids' area which we loved and a very good poolside bar.
You can't take your mobile with you as it has to be left in your locker but they have a very clever way to pay for things on side, your wristband, you can use it for everything, drinks, food, treatments etc, then you pay when you check out. Basically we couldn't fault the place and I'd say it's a must visit place when you are over this way at any time of year!!

A fantastic relaxing oasis

I visited the Florence area in March, and by accident I happened upon the website for Asmana while looking for hotel spas. My wife and I decided to give it a try, and we loved our visit so much we went back two days later for another visit!

Due to the cool weather, the warm water felt amazing, and the sauna "ceremony" they do in the different saunas are fun to observe. They have a very strict "no phones" policy one you get past the dressing rooms, and to have a break from staring at a phone was much needed.

My wife booked a 1/2 hour massage and was satisfied with the results, and we also had dinner as well. The food was simple, light and perfect for the atmosphere. When I'm stressed out, I now think about how nice it would be to return to Asmana. It is worth every Euro.
