Our trip to Florence was made very special by our evening of Opera at the Oratoria San Firenze. We booked tickets on line the previous evening and were given front row seats in a intimate gathering. The music was from Puccini and Verdi and we heard from the Tenor, Angelo Fiore and then the Soprano, Selene Fiaschi and then they duetted. The pianist was also exceptional. What made the evening so special was that in the interval we were invited to take some refreshment and speak to the the organiser, the performers. They were very happy to give us their time. The performances were brilliant and Italy is a lucky country to have such accessible talent to be enjoyed by all.
