My 6 year old soon appreciated all the playgrounds and the activities, but the surroundings could have been more kept after. Maybe it was because it was during low season. Some garden work was started during our visit.

Most reviews here seem to be about Kennedy Grove, not Salinas NR. The latter is the former salt pans now served the the Birdlife Malta Visitor Centre. The play areas, memorial and cafe are Kennedy Grove.

You can learn a lot about the production of salt extraction using the evaporation method. The salt pans are hundreds of years old. The bird life is amazing to see and the area is a great place to get peace and quiet. A visit is...More

I have travelled through Kennedy Grove lots of times and never really thought about stopping, but while walking to Qawra, I decided to cut through the park and I was pleasantly surprised. The park appears to be well-kept with plenty of benches and picnic benches,...More

If you walk from Qawra part way around Salina bay and keep as far as possible to the waters edge you will come across this park which only locals seem to use.Part of the way there is a board walk which does become overgrown. The area...More

We were walking along the Qawra coast overlooking the salt pans and came across a board walk heading across what looked like waste ground -my map tells me we were probably on the road Il-Melh. We decided to see where it went and ended up...More

This is an area that can be such a lovely tourism attraction as well as an area where local families can relax and spend some quality time together yet is very neglected and do need a lot of attention and upgrade
