A larger than average castle. Its lacking a little in the castle department or more likely not quite what one would expect. A little disappointed but certainly worth a visit if passing. Beautiful gardens though.
First of all, unfortunately we couldn't enter the castle as we came the first of January. So what's inside, I cannot tell you.

Bit of a trek up to the castle...but really interesting look round.would recommend staying in one of the hotels in the town although it’s possible to stay in the hotel next to the castle..but looked pricey
