Amazing experience
Jun 2021 • Family
With our love for Ruffino’s wine, we initially visited Ruffino in 2016 for a private wine tour and tasting during our honeymoon. Sylvia made our experience so memorable so we decided to visit again with the family.

We were spoilt for choice so went for the “back to the future” wine tasting experience at Poggio Casciano estate with Ermanno and the cooking class with Alexander in the beautiful Montemasso Estate. Both experiences were excellent! Our teenage kids throughly enjoyed cooking an authentic Italian meal and we enjoying the wine pairing. The team are all so friendly and welcoming each time we visit.

We will definitely be back again when we are next in Florence!

Fantastic

We had the pleasure to visit this house during the Covid-19 crisis. Very proffesional handling as to record visitors and measuring temperature before entering. We had an outstanding tasting of 4 wines of our choice accompanied by a peak down the wine cellars. The place has a b&b and a restaurant that might be worth a visit. All recommondations from us!!

Must see!
Dec 2019 • Couples
My lovely wife loves Ruffino! So it was one of the vineyards on our list to visit in Florence. We were lucky enough to get a Sunday reservation to the restaurant. Reservations on Sundays are by appointment only. We were greeted at the door by Chiara Rappuoli. Little did we know she would be taking care of us through lunch as well as taking us through a verbal tour of the wines and Prosecco Ruffino had to offer. She was so knowledgeable about all types of wines and we learned so much during our visit. We ended up buying wine and getting it shipped back to the States. What an amazing afternoon! And the grounds of the vineyard were great for taking pictures!

Great!

We did the Vineyard in a Glass wine tour a few days ago. What a nice experience! The grounds are lovely and the tour guide was great! Afterwards, we enjoyed tasting wine accompanied by a tray of food. We are big fans of Ruffino wine, so it was a special visit for us to see where our favorite wine is made.

Beautiful grounds and great wine
Aug 2019
We drink Ruffino back home, so this was a must! Again, we did not have reservations, but they accommodated us on their patio and gave us a bottle of wine with a cheese plate. The grounds are stunning, so sitting on the patio in the shade was spectacular! Cannot comment on the tour, but the host was extremely knowledgeable!

One of the best things to do in Tuscany
Jul 2019 • Family
It was such a great experience. Beautiful views, the cellar is impressive, the wines tasted were excellent and served elegantly with some food, our tour guide Angie was very knowledgeable friendly and generous with the tastings. We were there with our 3 children (18+) and another nice couple and everybody enjoyed the 3 hours there so much that we highly recommend it to wine lovers

Female sommelier/winermakers for the win!
Jul 2019 • Couples
My partner and I were lucky to pop into this winery during a self guided wine day in Chianti. It was the perfect way to start our day!! We were greeted by a lovely lady (who’s name I cannot remember but who I recall honeymooned in Australia 3 years ago!) who also did our tasting. She shared the amazing history of the region and wine in Italy (I took notes it was so insightful). The wine was as good as the amazing service! It was amazing to hear the experience of a female sommelier and winemaker in a company with lots of young women making truly delicious wine. Happily walked away with a bottle to take back to the other side of the world.

Fascinating blend of old and new
Jul 2019 • Couples
Excellent accommodations. While waiting for the tour to begin we were treated with water and espresso. This was our second tour of the day and what a contrast! The first was old and traditional while Ruffino was a beautiful blend of extremely efficient modern technology and the tried and true traditional ways. Best of all was our Brand Ambassador, Enxhi. She created a very intimate experience despite the size of the group we were part of. Her personal experience inspired many questions from the group. I've been told that Ruffino can be found at our local Trader Joe's and I do plan to stock up next time I go grocery shopping!

Ruffino Tour and Tasting
Jun 2019 • Couples
We had a splendid time on our tour of Ruffino. We were personally welcomed when we walked to the gate, then met our guide for our tour and tasting. She expertly showed us the entire campus, and explained each step of the winemaking process. The tasting was the cherry on top: 4 wines to taste, each with an accompanying description and explanation, along with local cheese and ham and bread. We also got to taste their Chianti Classico Olive Oil, which was a wonderful surprise. On our way out, we gawked at 3 Ferraris parked in the courtyard. Wow!

Can’t recommend this tour enough. Book it already!

The Best in Tuscany!
Mar 2019 • Couples
Finally after a couple of trips to Florence I made it to my favourite winery, Ruffino. (The wine featured throughout the HBO hit series The Sopranos)

A couple of years ago our tour was cancelled last minute due to unforeseen circumstances at the winery. The hospitality staff made great efforts to show their sincerity and sent gifts to Canada.

We took a taxi from Florence to the winery which was a 25 min ride through the Tuscan countryside.

We visited in March 2019 and finally got to experience the “Tradition vs Innovation” tour. It simply superseded our expectations. Our host Emiliano took us on a tour of the winery and was extremely knowledgeable and proud of the legacy and quality of Ruffino.

The tour ended with a sit down wine tasting of 4 of Ruffino’s finest wines, accompanied by meats as cheeses.

A trip to the gift shop allowed us to purchase the wine we enjoyed and were given souvenirs and gifts from our host.

I would highly recommend this winery and tour.
