This is a perfect hike for avid hikers looking for a cultural experience. The lagoon is a very sacred place to the native culture and not an easy place to get to. The hike itself brings you up around 1,200 meters in altitude to around...More

We had to pay 44'000 pesos for the entrance, our colombian friend had to pay just 9000 pesos. Such a big difference doesn't seems right to me! The double for tourists, ok, but 5 times more is not reasonable and fair. I'm disappointed of this...More

Beautiful sights. you're not supposed to begin ascending after 10am so take that into account. The entrance and parking fee are a bit high.

A marvelous hike through beautiful cloud forest up to "the wall", in the paramo-forest transition. Gorgeous views, clouds and paramo scenery. The lake is magic. Very different to Villa de Leyva surroundings, and worth the visit. Consider staying in the cabins of the park one...More

We are not unexperienced as hikers but this was a tough one. A steep and slippery trail that leads you to a rather underwhelming lake after 2,5-3 hours climbing. We didn't regret doing it and felt good afterwards but do not expect great views of...More

The hike up is exhausting and difficult but well worth it. The silence and the views are spectacular. A pretty laguna in an incredible natural environment waits for you on top. The way down can be a bit dangerous but wearing good shoes and beeing...More

The hike to Laguna de Iguaque is amazing. The last part is quite demanding but nothing impossible. If you're lucky to have a clear sunny day you definitely will enjoy some great views.
