Quite surprised and pleased with the detail and engineering of this casa. Well worth the visit. Around every corner you are met with another delightful artistic surprise.

I loved the Casa Terracota. It is an art work unique for its dimension and every detail is well thought. We loved the experience of being able to enjoy the house freely at our own time.

This house is a one-exepriene. It was built by an architect as a hobby. It took him 15 years to complete. The house is fully equipped. It has electricity, gas, bathrooms, showers and it is built to show that it it possible to live in an environmentally friendly house with all the necessities. I loved it!

Seriously? It’s so unique that it shouldn’t be missed, and it’s a nice morning walk up to see it. $15k entrance, no tour, but you can wander around and take pictures.... loved the unique furniture, creatures, and balconies!

This house is worth a visit if only to see how strange it is. Built entirely from clay. Very rustic with artistic elements everywhere. Although Gaudi-esque I cant imagine there is anywhere else like it in the world.

It is a little bit expensive the entrance (I paid $15.000 per person in 2019) and it does not include a tour. But the house itself is very interesting, weird and crazy! If you are in the main plaza of villa de Leyva it will take you around 20 min to get to the terracota house:)

Curious but worth a visit. Has a gaudi-Esk feel about it. Visited as part of a cycle tour. An interesting 30 minutes.

I think if you make the trek out to Villa De Leyva you should see this place. Very interesting and certainly picturesque. I really enjoyed it. Not anything you would expect from a small colonial town!

We visited this terracota house. I have never seen anything like it before. It took 14 years to build and the owner then decided to build another smaller one for himself and let visitors view the original. There are some fantastic metal sculptures everywhere. A unique property.

The house was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Unique in its shape, but especially its material. It was great to be able to walk inside and on top of the house, and see this work of art up close. The view from the roof was quite impressive as well. The entrance fee is, in my opinion, very reasonable, and goes to the maintenance of the house.
