- WorldTvlerParker_CO852 contributionsA must see, easy walk, interesting build!Seriously? It’s so unique that it shouldn’t be missed, and it’s a nice morning walk up to see it. $15k entrance, no tour, but you can wander around and take pictures.... loved the unique furniture, creatures, and balconies!Visited February 2020Written February 9, 2020
- Shlomit TIsrael104 contributionsMust see! This house is a one-exepriene. It was built by an architect as a hobby. It took him 15 years to complete. The house is fully equipped. It has electricity, gas, bathrooms, showers and it is built to show that it it possible to live in an environmentally friendly house with all the necessities. I loved it!Visited February 2020Written February 23, 2020
- katiwoo13 contributionsFantastic placeWow what an amazing place to see and one of its kind. I loved the creativness of each area and work that has been done here is incredible its abit likes one of gaudis houses in barcelona. There were also 2 macaws free to fly around in the grounds and sourounding area. I only wish there had been information in english as would have loved a tour or to have read more abiut it. There are qr codes but thats no good when your traveling from overseas and dont have data only wifi available. There was a nice lady though that was on the gate who spoke fluent english so could answer some questions on the way out.Visited March 2023Traveled with friendsWritten March 12, 2023

We stayed here two nights and had an extremely nice upstairs room. The beds are super comfy and there is even a night turn down service. The rooms are set around a mature and tranquil garden and the whole property is beautifully done and is a haven of calm . Breakfast is also very nicely done. Highly recommend
Btw don’t miss seeing the Fossil and Casa terracotta!

This house is worth a visit if only to see how strange it is. Built entirely from clay. Very rustic with artistic elements everywhere. Although Gaudi-esque I cant imagine there is anywhere else like it in the world.

This house is a very interesting work of art. Go upstairs on the roof balconies and check out all the interesting features. It's worth a stop. There is an entrance fee, though--it wasn't entirely clear when we arrived, but they chased us down on the way out.

I think if you make the trek out to Villa De Leyva you should see this place. Very interesting and certainly picturesque. I really enjoyed it. Not anything you would expect from a small colonial town!

This house's architecture is for me a Gaudi meets Tim Burton kind of place. The whole house is brilliant and full of details that make it a must. To enter you pay only COP10.000 per person. I would say it is a great place to visit when in Villa de Leyva.
