About
The long stretch of beach at Koh Yao Yai Village is a playground for beach volleyball, mini-soccer, jogging and fun games in the water. Exploring the offshore islands is highly recommended with day excursions to Phang-Nga Bay, amazing lagoons, floating fishing villages. Explore the amazing limestone islands of the Hong Island archipelago. This island hopping boat tour takes you to a spectacular lagoon, award winning beaches, coral reefs and pristine sunbathing spots. Bring your sunscreen for a day of snorkeling, swimming and relaxing. Take a romantic cruise on a long tail boat away from the tourist crowds to enjoy the sunset at Hong Island. Resting with refreshments and beers at Nok Island, we wait peacefully for the colorful sunset to fill the sky. Discover one of the best snorkeling sites in the area where three islands are surrounded by one coral reef, just south of Koh Yao Yai. Snorkel amongst colorful fish, relax on the beach and enjoy a picnic lunch at your own leisure.

The kindness and professionalism of the staff was far beyond any place we stayed in Thailand.
We got several massages on our trip and the ones we got at the Koh Yao Yai Village spa was our favorite. I have to admit I was so relaxed i briefly fell asleep.
We will definitely be coming back.

Living in the busy city our stay at this resort fulfilled exactly what we were hoping for: a rejuvenating time out in nature. The layout of the resort is stunning. The eco-friendly bungalows are nestled in the jungle, constructed of natural materials and woven in among trees.
Waking up to the jungle sounds, showering in the open rain shower under the green and lush trees feels very unique.
Splendid rice fields are seeming the property. The infinity pool is another stunning feature.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and has a really good level of English.
Some suggestions of ours would be to ask for one of the newer bungalows. Our initial bungalow was moldy, and the first two nights we slept in damp sheets. Fortunately we could swap to a newer, much cleaner room.
The breakfast buffet was quite disappointing for a 4-star resort. Nearly no variety and vegetarian options. We inquired with the management upon which we could order a vegetarian dish at breakfast. We wish that there could generally be a vegetarian and/or vegan option and not order only.
If these 'issues' are fine with you and you're an eco-lover you'll be very pleased with your stay here! Just bring plenty of moskito-repellant.

Wonderful room and grounds. Beautiful design, comfortable and clean. Gym small and in poor condition. Can’t swim in sea because of jellyfish and sting rays and must drive a scooter 30 minutes to do so. Excursions, transport, and spa services are substantially over-priced. Much better to do and arrange those things yourself off property. Food also overpriced, especially for the mediocre buffets. There are a couple of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast is included and is really excellent.

We had a 5 day stay in this resort. The service is great, the people are very helpful and the room is very comfortable. Also we liked the activities provided and the location. It’s a perfect, little paradise in the Jungle.

It’s the best resort on the island, service is excellent, food is incredible. Little pricier but worth every baht we spent there!
Today we did a day trip to James Bond island including the canoing through Hong Island, visiting caves full of monkeys and other animals, and the water village.. the local guide Pon explained us a lot about the culture and life in Ko Yao Yai and he was a great companion for the day!

Hired a scooter from a guy just near the exit of resort for 300bht for 24 hrs. Had great fun exploring the island and seeing local life. Transfer here arranged by the resort was painless and actually really fun on the speed boat. Food is exceptional. Great buffet breakfast. Eggs cooked to order. Staff polite and friendly. Thai food is delicious and good price.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Travelled with 2 kids aged 7 & 9.
We stayed in a Seaview Villa and it was big enough for the 4 of us.
Staff is very friendly, breakfast is excellent.
We also had a massage at the Spa which was very good.
Conclusion: I recommend it to everybody.

Spent a night here but really enjoyed it. This is the perfect place to relax and appreciate nature. My favorite part is the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and with a perfect sunrise. Truly magical. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Very good breakfast buffet. Whenever you need some RandR or spend a quality time with your partner Koh Yao Yai Village is the perfect place to stay. 😘😍😚
