We took advantage of there opening weekend offer tickets being half price for locals and was pleased we did was a very nice walk up and around the water fall with some excellent views across the valley. Would not say this would be a full...More
Visited as part of their locals 2for1 new season deal. Whilst accepting that on the day I visited it was extremely busy I know that because of the large size of the venue it’s easy to loose other people so you get to take in...More
Spent a lovely few hours here. We loved the fact that you could take a walk up to the top of the waterfall, and the views from the top were stunning. Luckily we went on a very quiet day, so felt we had the place...More
Loved it here, came on a lovely sunny day in october, and again on a not so sunny day in the same week! It was quiet and was a lovely calm tiring walk to the top and very much worth it. Stunning views from the...More
We tackled the waterfall on a cold but very clear day in late October, though were very pleased with the outcome. In reality, the 90 steps are only a small proportion of the ascent, with the path constantly inclined during the 45mins required to get...More

I found myself popping into Canonteign Falls cafe for a warm drink. Ruby, the young lady serving, suggested trying their Halloween hot chocolate. It was just what I needed. Thankyou as always for such a friendly service.

Hi, dogs do need to stay on the lead all the time. As a dog owner myself I really appreciate that some dogs are well behaved off the lead but with the number of other dogs, children and also our variety of wildlife including fairly tame ducks and geese, we stay on the side of caution and require leads. I hope you do come and visit anyway and our doggy friendly staff can also help you with ideas for local places that you can let your dog have a run around.
