A great place to relax and swim
Situated a short walk along the lane from our hotel accommodation at Katia Apartments we availed ourselves of the sunbeds situated outside the up market Avlaki Seaford Restaurant who did make a charge even though we had a lunchtime snack there. The location was stunning with views across the Ionian to Albania. Albeit a bit stony the sea was beautifully clear with snorkelling opportunities to view the many fish. Don't forget the aqua socks!

    Brilliant
Stay in a Villa in Kassiopi for 2 weeks. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. All you need to do is Google the restaurant’s. So many fantastic places to eat. My personal favourite was the traditional restaurant in Avlaki Beach.

    Stunning, picture postcard beach.
We visited Avlaki for a beach day twice on our fortnight's holiday in Sidari. I think it's one of the most beautiful beaches I've been to and we absolutely loved it here. It is a pebbley beach so you need beach shoes but the water is amazing to swim in, so clear and it's great for snorkeling. The pier is brilliant if, like our 12 year old, you want to dive in and the sunbeds with parasol are ideal to relax on. There's a lovely taverna just over the road for food & drinks, the fresh fruit van also arrives which is excellent. Avlaki is quiet, peaceful and truly beautiful. I can't recommend it enough. Definitely worth a visit

Beautiful clean beach and Crystal clear water. Two Beach chairs and umbrella €9 for the day. Doesn’t get crazily busy either. Two really nice mini restaurants on the beach road with clear view of the sea

Beautiful beach with a lovely taverna (Barbarosa) but then if you head off to the right of the beach you can walk to a secluded cove which is a nudist beach but not many people actually took off their clothes. From the entrance to the nudist beach walk left about 10 yards left then turn back inland through the bamboo and follow the path up (steep up and down for 20mins) then you will get to two beautiful coves that you will have to yourself (possibly) also a cave and great safe snorkelling from the beach. Do go in the morning or early afternoon as by 4 it’s shady. Lovely clean water at all coves and a good full day out plus a nature reserve we didn’t hike around.

Avlaki beach or known to the locals as Avlaki creek because it is very narrow.
At the end of a small track which is not very easy to drive down (unmade) some large rocks. There is a small parking area probably ok for 4 cars and some steps to the beach which is made up of smoth stones and is about 30m wide.
The water is good for snorkeling but not for just swimming, the Rocks have urchins so watch your feet.
The "creek" is a narrow inlet which has walls on either side. There are better beaches on paxos to snorkel from.

This beach is definitely a hidden gem, its just outside of kassiopi, with a 45 minute walk out of town towards the market then turn left. its at the end of the lane, which is about 30 minute walk. recommend a car as the road is a bit up and down. sunbeds around 11 euros for three beds and a umbrella

We loved this beautiful beach near Kassiopi. It is quiet compared to a number of other Corfu beaches. It is a stone beach with calm, crystal clear waters. There are sunbeds and a taverna on the beach. We discovered this out of the way beach on the recommendation of our villa owner and it was definitely our favorite on the island.

Corfu has a problem with rubbish collection at the moment (2018). Outside most villages there are piles of rubbish, and I really hope this is sorted out soon because otherwise there will be a serious health problem, as well as deterring travellers from visiting this lovely island.

We walked from the centre of kassiopi to Avlaki and it took 35 minutes. We had a great day out with a beautiful swim in the crystal clear waters. This was followed by a delicious lunch at Cavo Barbara. The views accross the beach and bay are lovely. Followed by an enjoyable walk back in to kassiopi.
I am a big fan of Avalaki beach and a vidit to Kassiopi wouldn't be complete without a visit to Avlaki.

We walked to Avlaki beach from where we were staying and found it to be almost deserted. The water is crystal clear and the beach in pebbled. There is one road that goes the length of the beach and ends in a car park. Along this road are three restaurants which do a roaring trade in the evenings.

The turquoise blue sea, the big pebbles, the clear water, the huge space, the beautiful scene around the bay is all green, I warmly advise visiting this beach. It has a large parking space free of charge. Must see .... I strongly advise you to go for a walk to the beaches that are on the right side of the "peninsula" and fall under the protected area. accessible only on foot, beautiful beaches! (required at Arias and Akoli beach)

The beach is small pebbles so is comfortable enough to lie on. Great for snorkeling particularly around the rocks at the Eastern end. Parking is plentiful and free but there are no changing or showering facilities. There are 2 bar/restaurants next to the beach. There are no lifeguards but swimming is very safe. There is also access from here to a large nature reserve and footpaths to other secluded beaches including a nudist beach. Well worth a visit.
