Small beach with amazing views and crystal clear water. Many people were snorkeling so I guess it must be a great spot to do it. The beach doesn’t have sand, only small pebbles but it’s rather easy walking on them with the right shoes. There’s free parking nearby as well as restaurants. There is also a changing room and available umbrellas and sun beds which require payment obviously. Those who don’t want to spend their money on the sunbeds, don’t have lots of space left but can place their towel on the big rocks or on the small pebbles.

Really beautiful beach. I’m not a big fan of sand so this pebble Beach was ideal. Sun loungers aren’t particularly cheap but if you get there early you have them all day and the vendors are very helpful. I would suggest arriving by 9.30am if you want any of the Sun loungers on the actual beach, otherwise you will be up on the hill. Great spot for snorkelling and watching crabs and fish in the rock pools.

Spotted this gem of a beach during our first visit to Kassiopi and we decided to return for a day in the sun. I'm not much of a beach reviewer, having mostly written about hotels, restos and the occasional monument or museum. So it's fun to find the words to describe beaches: a bit pebbly, but crystal blue water, sheltered from the winds, small and fairly crowded by mid-afternoon, a (free) car park not visible while lounging on a sun bed and parasol rented at a reasonable price (I guess...), no showers on the beach but eating and drinking options very close by, and the view towards the Albanian mountains rolling northwards and eastwards in the distance. In short, very beautiful and relaxing!

You can get there by walk within 15 min from the center of Kassiopi. The way is beautiful and the beach itself. It is next to Pipitos beach. A bit crowded but we foud sunbeds aprox 12 o'clock. It cost 15 euro wich is a bit expensive considering in Crete we paid 8 euro. You need swimming shoes and dont forget your snorkell stuff!

Wonderful beach, both free and equipped, in white pebbles with a fabulous sea! You will swim surrounded by numerous fish that will not even touch you, the only flaw parking a little 'limited. I also highly recommend the little frequented cove that is located behind the hill and easily reached on foot downhill on the rocks, here the water is a little colder but even more beautiful!

Small bay a few minutes drive from Kassiopi. Small parking lot. We arrived at ten in the morning and took an umbrella (3€) and two sunbeds (6€ each). Places end early but there is a lot of turnover. Clear beach and kiosk for drinking and eating next to the parking lot

Beautiful beach, my favorite in Corfu. Recommendation to go early, too. Before 9.30am for parking and place on the beach. It is equipped and costs 15 euros two sunbeds and umbrella. Gorgeous water and fish are on shore. Even those who do not like high water can see them. Around 12 o'clock, however, it gets crowded and a bit confusing.

Bellissima spiaggia! Da vedere! Beautiful sea with beautiful colors... cold water... but so beautiful that it is impossible not to swim! Paid beach more expensive than the island average, but given the place there is !

A lovely beach, plenty of sun beds with umbrellas and great prices. Use of the restaurants facilities which is always handy to know! Plus good for snacks if you require them. The beach and sea is very pebbly, but don’t let that put you off as you can purchase sea shoes in most shops, and again cheap enough... Snorkelling is great here, as there are lots of rocks. We went at the end of July, and they were very efficient at cleaning down the beds etc when anyone left, ready for them to be used again. Stunning views and definitely good for the soul.

Beautiful cove with white pebbles and clear blue water. You can rent sun loungers and an umbrella for €8 and enjoy the stunning views over to the Albanian mountains. Clean and well kept and a short walk from the town.

Small, very beautiful white pebble beach. The deckchairs are set back in espaliers. Come early otherwise it’s a rush. Small free parking lot. The ideal remains the scooter. In the afternoon, there is no more place to put your towel but there are still the surrounding flat rocks. For the beauty and color of the water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had it all planned, a morning at Bataria beach get there early, great spot at the front. Must of been there for an hour taking in the lovely view.. cheap sun beds and umbrella, €8 for the two of us. Went in for our first dip into the lovely blue water, you really need shoes as the pebbles really hurt. Felt a stinging around my arm as I bobbed along. Didn’t see anything but it felt like needles. A jelly fish sting as the recent storms had washed them closer to the shore we found out later. A trip to the pharmacy, anti histamines and cream later.. wrong advice by the woman in the pharmacy she said put ice on it which made it worse, as you’re supposed to run the sting under as hot a water as you can bear.. not a great day and the sting is still pronounced on my arm almost three weeks later. Shame as the place is stunning

Crystal clear waters in stunning natural landscape setting... what more is there to say?!
Perfect for swimming, snorkelling, diving or sunbathing.
Sunbeds and sun-umbrellas available, managed by friendly and helpful owner. You can also lie on the stones or more comfortably on the rocks. Beach shoes are recommended for more comfort. Great for families, couples, friends or individuals. Smaller beaches / bathing bays all around.
Café’ with drinks, snacks and ice-cream just a step away.
Restaurant with great views, also a step away.
Small 7min very picturesque walk from either Kassiopi harbour or Kalamiona beach; on a walkers’ route. Also lovely to combine with visit to Kassiopi castle and explore surrounding paths.

Spent about four hours a day here, during our recent holiday, and loved it. Rented beds and a parasol and ensured we took snorkels and swim shoes with us. The water is clear and deep - certainly not suitable for non-swimmers. There are a few tavernas nearby and a mobile stall selling fresh fruit, although husband walked into the village each day to get take-away gyros. Stunning place.

If you want to be blown away, pay a visit to this gorgeous beach. Went there a few times with the family, for lazing about and snorkeling - it’s the best. The sun loungers and umbrellas are cheap, and the staff friendly! For young kids just trying out snorkeling, this place is a must - loads of fish, warm water and crystal clear as well! My kids affectionately names this “Epic Beach!”

A beautiful beach, we came here for the day. Quick walk from the centre of Kassiopi, we couldn’t get enough of the views. Lots of sun beds to choose from, £3 per sunbed, £2 for a parasol. The man taking the money is very friendly!

The beach is pebbly so thicker sandals or water shoes will be useful and there are two restaurants to choose from for lunch. We went to Kastro and the chicken gyros plate was delicious! We will be visiting Bataria beach again soon

Kassiopi is a typical town on Corfu. Coming into town, there is a small parking lot and after a 5 minute walk along the tourist shops and restaurant, you get to a fork, signs pointing to "Main Beach" and "Port". Go to the main beach and hang a right to get to one of the most gorgeous accessible walkpaths that loops around the peninsula and ends at the harbor. Along the way there are villas and and fantastic views of the water (the path is above the water about 80 m or so). Definitely worth going, even if it is just to walk off the great meal you just had. Bataria beach is at the midpoint and is down a path from the cliffs. You can see it from the pathway. Perfectly situated and clear waters is everything you expect from Corfu.

My family and I visited in August on a weekday. We arrived late, about noon. Our collective opinion is that Bataria is well worth a trip. It exceeded our expectations in spite of a few difficulties.

The beach faces the Mediterranean Sea with lovely views of coastal mountains across the way. The water is clear and the surf gentle. The beach proper is hemmed in with large rocks that serve as tiny cliff-jumping platforms on the left and elevated sunbathing spots on the right.

My daughter and I enjoyed exploring the rocks and splashing around in the water. The sea bottom drops off quickly. So, mind those young children.

There is food nearby, which we found tasty, though served at... well... a European pace.

Parking can be a real challenge if you arrive as late as we did. I ended up dropping my family at the beach and taking the car to another beach for parking. The walk back was scenic and easy, but it was a good 15 minutes in high summer heat.
