Fast and efficient and always on time. Helpful and friendly staff. Took the ferry from Marsh Harbor to Hopetown and it was easy to get to and find. Get your tickets online in a book of 10 to save some money.

We have taken this to Great Guana Cay numerous times. Always on time. Never have to wait. When they say they depart at a certain time, they are true to their departure times. Pleasant staff.

I am here on Marsh Harbor for Vacation with 5 family members for 10 days over the holidays and have used Albury's Ferry Service twice so far. Round trip to Hopetown and Round Trip to Great Guana Cay. Both experiences were on time, and safe. i recommend buying the 10 pass discount for $115 for 10 passes instead of $30.00 per pass.

Ferry services need to bee reliable. That’s the hallmark of the service model. There’s a difference between weather delays, which is of course understandable, and laid back policies which permit the captain to wait for people who call to say they’re running late. That’s unacceptable.

Good day Derek, Thank you for your review of Albury's Ferry Service, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. We are sorry that you found our service to be unreliable because we accommodated a fellow passenger who called to let us know they were en route- island life often presents a certain set of challenges that require flexibility all around. :) We do our best to serve our community- both locally and globally, and from time to time that may mean making slight (less than five minutes) adjustments to our schedule. We apologise that you were inconvenienced by this. Please reach out to me at marketing@alburysferry.com so that we can offer you a complimentary ticket for your trouble.

You may or may not get a seat! The ferry is very much like a transit bus and unfortunately we took it at rush hour, so it seemed! If you are elderly or disabled, you will have a tough time getting in or off the ferry, especially when the tide is low. The gentlemen that work on the ferry will help you though.

We took the ferry from Marsh Harbor to Hope Town restaurant and paid for a round trip. As we exited, a person who took our money told us to be at the same dock location either at 3 or 5. We told him that we’d be there at 3. At 2:50, we were walking down the dock and our boat was backing out so I yelled at the guy to pick us up but he just pointed to some other direction as he looked at me then pulled away not to return. Another local with a boat took us to another dock where we took a different company back to Marsh Harbor. When I got there, I went over the our original boat and asked the guy who took our money why he left us on the dock when he clearly saw us there early. After some pointless arguments, we asked for our round trip portion of money back but they just said they don’t give refunds. THIS COMPANY WILL LEAVE YOU ON THE DOCK FOR HOURS IN THE SUN AND DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU OR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

The best I can say is the Ferry was on time both times we took it. Our group of 5 took the ferry from Marsh Harbour to Elbow Cay on a Saturday & back again a week later. Both times it was overly crowded with people and luggage. We had nowhere to sit. People are rude and sit spread out when they could make room for others. I finally asked some people if they'd please slide down so my children could sit. Plenty of staff the first Saturday to help load luggage, but the Saturday we departed there was only two men running the boat. I had to really struggle to load my & my children's luggage against the crowd of people pushing to get aboard. It was very chaotic at the Hope Town dock. Hands down this was the worst part of our trip. I loved Elbow Cay but using the ferry again is a deal breaker for me. They need more boats running to meet the flight schedule demands & more men to assist loading luggage & passengers. This surely happens every Saturday! Only a few flights arrive & depart here! I would not recommend this ferry for elderly or disabled persons.

Old engines, old boats, awful diesel fumes, and VERY expensive. The tickets keep getting more expensive, and the service keeps getting worse. But as it stands, there is no other choice.

Another great service on Abaco. On time, friendly staff, very comfortable and quick trip. In 30 minutes we were there. Picked up Ferry by Curly Tails and dropped back off with nothing negative to say. $30 Round trip fare paid, per person. Schedule and information at their website at http://www.alburysferry.com/

These guys run like clockwork with reliable comfortable boats that keep you dry even in rain and rough weather, though we recommend having a raincoat with hood handy when going on the ferry's especially on rainy days. From Marsh Harbour you can get to Elbow Cay, Great Guana, Green Turtle, Man O War and other cays to hang out, lunch, fish or vacation.
