The drive up the hill is steep. Not sure whether a manual drive can make it all the way up. The views from top are really beautiful. Quiet windy place. The walking trail may also be good. Worth the drive.
Was very steep getting up there, not the best view in NZ, we were hoping it to tell us how far we were from certain places, the information guides up there were great and told us alot aboit New Zealands history

If you visit Bluff and don’t come up the hill to motupohue you’re really missing out. On a clear day the views are amazing. On a stormy day just seeing the weather rolling across the Bluff is breathtaking.
