Very hard to grade. Lovely walk but with major concerns and reservations. When you get to Sterling Point, you will see signposted a coastal track that branches off to the left and brings you back approximately to Sterling Point. If you take the first right,...More

Wow that;'s a steep hill, luckily we drove up, I sure wouldn't want to walk or ride up. Great views of the region.

You can walk up through the bush in 45 minutes or drive up - I didn't think the drive was very steep at all but the road was narrow. At the top, you can see in all directions and not much noise from the town...More

We were lucky enough to have a clear day to see Stewart Island and to see Bluff Township below definitely a great place to view and try to understand the locals life back in the hey days of this town

It is an extremely steep road in places to get to the top but well worth the view. You can look out to the far horizon or turn around and see Bluff and Invercargill. So glad we did this

Drove up to the top of Bluff Hill. A great view to be had; plenty of information on the boards that were placed by short path. Definitely worth the very short walk

Great panoramic ocean views from the top. You can also see several islands from there. There are multiple signs as you ascend to the top of the lookout that tell you the history of this part of South Island. No charge for admission or parking.

What an amazing view from an incredible drive up the Bluff Hill. Well worth the drive from Invercargill - we did it twice as the weather wasn't that great on the first day so went back the following day to get more photos. Put it...More
