This is the first thing you see as you drive to the American Cemetery. We thought it was the highly recommended Visitors Center. Instead it's an overpriced, dark, cheesy series of "vignettes" with department store mannequins dressed in period uniforms. Lots of vehicles and equipment,...More

Good overview, there are offcorse many museums of this type but it is crisp in a certain kind of way. It starts with some history. After that it gets more of a theatre.

A great museum documenting the events during D-Day. Equipment, uniforms and displays bring the beaches of Normandy alive. If you are in Normandy, you have to go!

Close to the American Cemetary and easy to find. There are a lot of vehicles and reconstructions. There is plentyof information, which tells the story of the war, although the lighting and colour of some signs makes them difficult to read.
