We stayed at the wild harbor beach. Parking near Villa Tafuri entrance (5euro all day x cars) and then about 1km of walking (downhill on the way) on rough and sometimes rocky ground (you need tennis shoes). The beach is small and pebble (recommended rock shoes but we used slippers). The space in the pine forest is very large, shaded and equipped with some picnic tables and garbage cans. There are also two kiosks.
Within the natural park there are several paths and many views of the wall with rocks.
The place is very nice, recommended to arrive early and get into the pine forest.
Unfortunately the part where the sea is shallow is quite narrow and fills up immediately. The bottom is sandy/rocky. Recommended mask and mouthpiece.

As announced, you walk quite a bit to get there, so you expect a breathtaking view after the effort; in reality it is a nature reserve with very few services and access to the beach. Interesting view, clean but cold water… the day can become very tiring if you are eager to have something besides the beach. In this reserve you can lie down on the ground (with stones and soil) to rest but you are not comfortable.

Beautiful park, rocky cliffs, small sandy beach, crystal clear water. Perfect setting for day at the beach. You can rest and picnic in the shady areas, lay like a lizard on the rocks, enjoy the sea, or go for a long scenic walk. Many people park on along the road and walk into the large park area, or there is designated parking. Go early to claim your ideal spot with some shade if you want to spend the entire day there.

No for people with mobility issues, but most of us will do fine, because some hiking is involved on a gravel path or on a slightly rocky surface. One of the great clean and wild areas of the Mediterranean, saved for all of us by the great Renata Fonte, who stood up to greedy developers who wanted to erect a resort here, she paid the ultimate price for that when she was shot outside her door in 1982. The assassins were appended and their greed plans were laid waste and gave rise to a great public sentiment to save this magnificent resource for us all! Go.

A very quiet park (except in the summer, of course), with both nature and beaches, some of which almost unspoiled and only known by locals!
Also easy to get to wither by car or public transportation!

A very nice quiet spot for a swim off the rocks if you are in the area, about a ten minute walk down from the road, taking a left turn through the pine trees. Lovely water, a tiny little sand beach and a lot of rocks along the water to lounge on or jump from.

Every time we come here is like coming back to the best place on this wonderful planet! You can park at the Fico D'India and walk across the pine forest ( more or less 20 minutes) wear proper trainers or shoes cos u will go up and down rocks to reach the sea: incredible colours, water and scenery! One of the best places in Salento

Perfect small park to have a little walk and picknick. There are wide paths and many picknick tables in the wood around the coast. The only disappointed was the Cave/grotta because there is an iron gate at the entry. Entry to the park is free but in the season the surrounding parking spaces are charged. The path from beach to the grotte along the coast is narrow and rocky. I would not recommend for small kids 4 and under or people with movement difficulties. We enjoyed the day there. If you are there before 10:30 you have space for parking and not too many people. Italien tend to be out later in the day :-D

Alpine forest sweeps down to rock edged cove. Safe to swim in- but waters can be very cold in places unexpectedly. There are picnic tables in trees for shade behind rocks and a small cart selling soft drinks and icecreams. Great turquoise waters for snorkelling but not the most comfy to lie in sun as you plonk your towel on a rock and they arent all even. Its a good 10 minute at least walk downhill to get to the cove and a steep walk back up. You dont want to be carrying much or trying it with very young kids.

If you are in the area and half a few hours to spare and want to relax go for a walk in this park or find a nice smooth bit of rock at the waters edge and enjoy. Definitely easier with a car and you can chance parking on the road by the villa or going to the car park another 1.5km on and then walking in from the other entry (we did the former but it was a week day in early June so before the "crowds"). Can chose from easy or steeper gradient paths to get to the water - even the steeper ones aren't too bad. to the right is quieter, to the left you do get a bit of sandy beach and some good rock seats and alcoves. Go and do nothing for a few hours or take some really good walks along the water and up through the trees - either way you will enjoy it.

in braccio perché la strada sul finire è un po accidentata. sulla spiaggia in compenso arriva una bella pineta che garantisce ombra sufficiente a far fare un bel riposino alla bimba.
