We followed the D290 along the gorge from Vallon Pont d'Arc to St Martin d'Ardeche. The first fantastic sight is the Pont d'Arc, soon after you leave Vallon. There is a big car park on the left of the road (free when we were there),...More

We rode the Gorges on our tandem bike, loaded for touring. The views were stunning. There are a lot of well laid out overlooks. We rode in September so while there was traffic, it was not super busy.

We did a 24km kayak-tour through this breathtaking phenomena of nature !! There are some "rapidements", but they are really fun to do. The water in september was a bit low, so we got stuck a few times on the bottom rocks.

The Gorge is one of the most beautiful in France. The winding river and the deep gorge is stunning and seeing the natural stone bridge is a sight to behold. Many gorgeous!!! pictures to be taken LOL

About 30 miles or a couple of hours in sheer heaven. Driving down the roads that hug the banks of the winding river - you'll be stopping of every 10 mins for a photo opportunity - if it's all a bit too much you can...More
