We kayaked 24 km on the Ardeche. It was a beautiful river, with towering cliffs all along. Some wild water- most of which was no challenge for us. We did get swamped at one spot, but recovered fine.

Spending a great vacation time in Ardeche area and found quite a lot of enchanted places like the Gorges with the Pont d'Arc highlight. Inspiring and chilling. We spend several days in the different Areas of the Gorges and will come back soon!

Highly recommend a visit. Ideal for canoe enthusiasts. Very well organized. Best to get there early in the morning before the buses arrive if possible. If driving by car there are many viewing places along the way.

Lovely drive with plenty of stopping places for photos. If it’s a sunny day the colors on the rocks are beautiful. Takes about 40 minutes to drive depending on how often you stop to gawk.

Beautifull place to do canoe, hiking, trecking.. You have different types of camping places. You can come with dogs, children. Best not in July and August
