We stopped here to stretch our legs and watch a few canoeists go by. The small beach area was very busy for mid morning and must get crowded in the height of summer

Seasons matter a lot in this part of the world. If it's a little grey and late October, it's like someone said the 'Black Death' is coming and everyone who runs some sort of tourist-oriented activity heads to the hills. Thankfully there was one bloke...More

I went into Pont d’arc several times and this always beautiful. This natural arch dominates the Ardèche river and you can go under in a kayak, this very amazing. The landscape is pleasant. But, be careful, the river forms rapids in different points. You can...More

We visit here every time we are in the area. This year we found the had changed the road layout and parking above the arch. A plus is there is now a foot path down to the tranquil beach on this side, though it means...More

We had really been looking forward to seeing this natural arch, but on arrival did not even stop for a walk to it as it was just too busy with cars and people everywhere. Very disappointing.

It's THE place to visit they tell you, but to get down to the beach you have to walk a path with loose rocks which is almost impossible with childeren. The nature itself is nice, but in the end overrated and harassed by the amount...More

We hired a guided kayac tour as it was our first time. What an amazing way to view this spectacular site. We hired bikes the next day and cycled back to swim in the river. The only thing that let it down was dog poo,...More

The views are marvellous. Parking is a real pain on hot summer days. Some areas only accessible via difficult paths. Plenty of water-based activities are available but there are almost no toilet or cafe facilities nearby.

Well worth a visit but go early like 8am otherwise no parking. The beach by the arch is great for relaxing and there is a safe area for bathing
