I have seen pictures of this church, and the Lalique glass, but seeing it for real was something else again. Unique is an overused word, but is justified here. Truly inspiring.

What a find! most unexpected and delightful. Glass is a much overlooked material (though very popular with modern buildings now). The use here in this church is in the true sense of the word "Unique"! The font is in itself a work of art and...More

A very different but fairly plain church just off the road to St Helier. Free on site parking. Unless you stay for some refreshment at the on site cafe, a visit will only take 15 or 20 minutes.

Online photos don't capture the illuminated beauty of this place. The glasswork is beautiful and the overall effect is of quiet brilliance in its truest sense. The church has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.

Amazing to think that all the galss is Lalique. You can see the damage to one of the front doors when a German soldier threw a stone and missed his intended target.

Visited the Glass Church in September 2018. Was amazed by the ways in which the glass had been worked, had never heard of it before. Easy trip from St Helier on the fairly frequent service bus. So pleased to have visited, not something you would...More
