If you want to experience temple with lake this place is one of the best choice in Korea. The tracking around the lake was fantastic and beautiful.

The temple itself is small and there are not much to see although it is historical and well-maintained. But the location is great. It is by a large reservoir lake and among pretty mountains. And there is a fantastic track around the lake-mountain. It will...More

Very nice place and interesting. You can see a moncs when they prey and is really peaceful place. The area is also so nice for outdoor tracking. You cam walk beside the river and arrive to wonderful water falls.

Allow yourself time to hike up to the higher elevation temple buildings and/or around the (dam-created) lake on which this temple sits. (We weren't able to do this, which is why I hesitate to rate our experience as "excellent.") Bring or buy some crackers or...More

It is one of those places in beautiful natural surrounding where you are calmed. The temple is placed close to a lake the color of which looks green under the shadows of the hanging boughs of trees. The mountain behind provides a dramatic backdrop; if...More

This is a magical place. The main temple is just the start. Cross the bridge and go up the mountain behind the lake to see another gem up the creek. Then make sure you climb the mountain behind the temple to see the other temple...More
