This country park has everything you need to make a day out of it, from the car parkyou will pass by lots of restaurants that serve amazing stews and is inexpensive. We ate lunch before hiking rather than eating on the way back and am glad we did as it was quieter. Food was good and perfect fuel for the little hike to see the waterfalls. The course hike starts from the temple which you have to pay a fee for, I assume to ensure the area is maintained well. The trail starts easy and flat but soon as you leave the temple side the trail starts to become rocky and I was amazed at the amount of stair cases built into the hike to make it a little easier but stairs are no walk in the park if you are not used to hiking. There are a few different trails to choose, you can hike to a glass observatory or hike to the waterfalls, if you have time and started early in the day I would recommend doing both the waterfall hike and observatory hike. Along the trail you will find first aid boxes which is filled with band aids and muscle sprays and I have to admit on the way back down was a relief to see as I developed a heck of a blister on my heel. Beautiful trails and if it hadn’t been Chuseok holidays I think we could have had the trails to ourselves. Also, special shout out to the old man selling these amazing giant rice crackers he was super funny and even posed for my photos.

I had a really good time hiking (more like walking or really light hike). You start at the temple. There are 12 waterfalls on the way, but it's good idea to turn around at 12th waterfall. I went up last almost 2 km to get to the top, but it was pointless. No view along the way and you see nothing even at the top (because of the bushes and trees). And it was really difficult and pretty hard 2 km. So up to the last waterfall it is a really good hike.

This was my favorite place to hike on the weekends. To go here and just walk to where ever I could, got me out of the city and into nature. The water is beautiful and Koreans are best in nature. At the trail head (used to be) noodle stands or "Pajong" eateries. Best ever.

Beautiful place to have a hike. Would recommend to arrive early in the morning though if you'd like some peace and quiet. In the afternoon the place is packed with drunk/loud Koreans, who bring enough kit to climb Mount Everest and/or survive a nuclear winter.

To get to all 12 waterfalls requires your whole day getting there early. If you drive there is a parking fee and entrance fee but well worth it. Marvelous views and great hike

Well I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the ambiance in this valley, I arrived at quite a peacful time (8:00AM) which meant I avoided the coach loads of people. The sounds of the trees, the birds and the squirrels was so peaceful, I felt so relaxed. Was well worth the journey from Ulsan just to spend the day there.
