It was VERY hot in the evening. They sell drinks - take advantage of this. You can go 'vip' or cheap seats - we were in the cheap ones as we wanted the full experience and it was fine. Its an insight into the culture .

Never been tro such a bad stadium to watch Thai boxing...a waste of money! Some of the fights were clearly set up, never again.

Previously, I was never interested in muay thai boxing or had seen a fight before, but our stay on Koh Samui was coming to an end and after seeing/hearing the advertising for a few days we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere inside the stadium is quite interesting - you can drink and smoke inside and overall the atmosphere felt a little like attending backyard fights. As odd as it may seem, I really liked it. The fights were okay - some of the fighters were just kids, so obviously no blood or knock-outs. Still, it was a good night to remember!…

Review of: Muay Thai Fight Night
The most central of the 3 main Muay Thai stadiums on Samui. Located in the middle of the Chaweng nightlife, at the end of the Soi Solo, otherwise famous for its lively gay bars, Israeli restaurants and massage parlours, everyone mixing happily. 6 fights usually, every Tuesday and Friday at 9 pm, some opposing foreign and local boxers, good to very good levels, friendly crowd, boisterous in the blue corner, where the locals and some foreigners are betting.
