The Castle Park is a beautiful little spot in Frodsham to have a short stroll, stop for a bite to eat in the cafe and peruse the attached art gallery. Very well maintained and clean, and when I was there it was full of families enjoying the warm weather in the picturesque surroundings. It's always nice to see people enjoying... More

Not much for grandchildren to play on safely (3). Also disappointed no on park café. Used one at art gallery. Not enough selection and costly even for a coffee. Only stayed 1/2 hr.

Beautiful, small but very well maintained park. Lovely children's play area. Great for a walk with your child in a pushchair or with your dog or both. I visited with my partner and my 1 week old son. You can also play sports like tennis, basketball etc.

This is a lovely exhibition space. There are three galleries to visit.. we went to see the Association of Animal Artists exhibition. This was full of the most beautiful animal paintings you're ever likely to see. It's great to look at the art and then have a snack or lunch in the cafe. This venue should be more widely known... Its got everything going for it for young children. Small swings and slides for the very young and bigger ones for older children.

I love going to the park, it has lots of different areas, formal gardens, children's play area, athletic track, football pitches, woodland and lawned areas. It's fantastic for a brisk walk on a sunny day!

Castle park or 'Squirrel park' as it was known by my children is a good place for people of all ages. I now take my grandchildren there. I regularly visit to exercise my dog as the paths remain mud free where everywhere else is positively boggy. Lovely history of the house and park as a permanent exhibition in the conservatory...
