This is a lovely view overlooking across the valley to the little white village of Competa which clings to the side of a mountain. There is very little parking to stop and view as the mountain roads are small and busy and is probably better...More

A good viewing point to see over Competa and the Maroma the highest peak of the province of Malaga , and of the Natural Park of the Sierras Tejeda, Alhama y Almijara. The Gaudí style tile artwork may not be to every ones taste ..the...More

If you can see the sea from Competa it's a miracle having said that the area and town are beautiful and worth the trip.

There´s always a handful of people and parked cars, tourists brandishing cameras, capturing some of the most spectacular views of the valley, village, mountains and the Med. A good place to have a picnic, pause and simply smoke a porro and chill out.

Met old friends here for drinks before heading into Almunecar, views are stunning! Just off the dual carriage way, so easily accessible. Had drinks served with free tapas!

Well worth stopping to take a few photographs, a fantastic view of Competa. The mosaic detail on the ground and walls is very interesting. Be carful with small children, the walls are low and a big drop on the other side.

Great place to stop and take in the great views of the white washed town of Competa. Make sure you bring a camera.

We were stopping in Competa and arranged to meet friends at this Gaudi influenced area. Very interesting and of course colourful. An opportunity to take photos of the Guida scene and the panoramic views of the area.

Of course if there village goes to so much effort as to build an unusual bench to look out over the valley, it should be good. It is an absolute must to visit, stop, look around and perhaps one or two photos.
