Special trip
Wang Ta Krai Waterfall It is a very beautiful and peaceful place, surrounded by nature. Within the park, there are many places to swim, each of which has a different beauty, has accommodation for sale. And the place to put up a tent is in Nakhon Nayok Province, which is close to many provinces and close to the capital of Thailand, so it's suitable for traveling to find beautiful nature and suitable for a hassle-free journey.

We paid 150 Baht a car to enter the park. Wang Takrai Park is a creek and is well maintained and is nice. There are swimming areas in the park. The water is clear.

This place is a joke.

Never in my 15 years in Thailand I visit such poorly managed place. Arrived with my bike and was refused the entrance.
Guards saying I have to leave my bike at the gate (motorbike parking). So I would have to walk with my stuff for the remaining 2 Km, while cars can proceed normaly. This is insance and discrimination between 2 wheels and cars. Crap management and direction.

This is not a garden but a sea-garden.

We 3 friends visited the wang Takri Garden . The garden is so huge that you can not find the end of it. Water body is spread so long that you can not find your whereabouts. It is very good for less dangerous water sports activities.

It was amazing to see Thai families enjoying together witg a lot of fun activities near the water flow.

This is a wonderful place to go to for a day trip. It is beautiful and safe and only an hour and a half away from Rangsit. The nature reserve is open from 8 am to 4 pm for day passes but you can rent a place to stay over night as well. The entrance fee is 20 baht per person and 100 baht per car with four people. It's not that far to walk from the entrance of the park to the "end".

The water is nice and cool and clean and there are about four main spots where you can settle down for the day and have your picnic. At every spot there is a bathroom (squatter potty) as well as a shop to buy food and snacks. They also sell mats to sit on for 120 baht as well as swimsuits and tshirts. You will also find a big heap of inner tubes at every swim spot that you can rent to take a trip down the river (or just to chill with in the water) for 20 - 40 baht (depending on the size of the tube). If you take your tube back to its designated heap (they are all marked with specific symbols) you might get some money back (that is what I experienced).

We traveled there from Future Park in Rangsit. The van can be found under the bridge that goes to Future Park and costs 100 baht per person. Coming back was a bit tricky. We basically stood on the side of the road and waved down vans that seemed familiar to the one we came in. The van we took back was van nr 967 and it was 80 baht per person.

Oh yeah, there is also "the big slide" which goes over the river and is 50 baht per person. I, myself did not do it but it looked like a lot of fun. And another thing, even though there are no signs that say "No bikinis or one pieces" it would be respectful towards the Thai people if the girls swam in trunks and a tshirt. The riverbed is also very rocky, so maybe go with somekind of amphibias shoe.

All in all we spent most of the day in the river which was very relaxing with children laughing and birds singing. It really is a fun getaway for everyone.

Wang Takhrai, is a resort and a botanical garden belonging to the Chumphot - Phanthip Foundation. The park was decorated with countless species of flora and is a short distance from famed waterfall Namtok Sarika. Wang Takhrai encompasses a total area of approximately 1,500 rai (about 600 acres) and is renowned for its scenic landscapes, small rocky creek and wide variety of plants. Other than that, there is an exciting range of activities which includes swimming, canoeing, cycling, or riding downstream on inflated tire inner tubes.

Wang Takhrai is located in Hing Tang Sub-district, approximately 16 kilometers from Nakhon Nayok town. A fun, one-day trip is possible, as visitors may drive to all the attractions within the compound.

Wang Takhrai Park and Waterfall welcomes all types of tourists including day trips and overnight stays. There are several bungalows available as well as two large dormitory style buildings which can sleep at least 60 persons or more. The park is open from 8.00 am-5.00 pm daily. Entry costs 10 Baht per visitor with cars costing 100 Baht per vehicle (no more than 4 passengers). If vehicles have more than 4 passengers, each additional passenger will be charged 10 Baht. For buses, entry is 10 Baht per visitor.

Relaxing river
Mar 2015 • Friends
Where Highway 3049 crosses the Wang Takrai stream it is very clean and shallow over a pebble bottom. There are a number of small Restaurants right there that also provide benches and platforms in the stream where you can relax for a small charge. It was very relaxing and pleasant with many couples and families enjoying the water or snacking.
