Beautiful castle, worth time and money

The big castle is now a museum opened for everyone's eyes. It's easy to reach it because all the roads go there. Best time to visit is in the morning time, not so crowded.

Another gem the Castelul Corvinilor - Amazing! We were treated to a Wedding, a live Opera rehearsal and the most amazing stories from the walls of the Castle. It really is a must see! From the torture chambers below, to the banquet halls and watch towers above Castelul Corvinilor has it all. Probably best approached by car from Sibiu

If you ever reach Hunedoara, you must stop and visit the Castle Corvin. It's magnificent. It is really well preserved, even though it doesn't have much furniture. The best time to visit is during the summer.

Full of history, beautiful sights. At least 2 hours for a full overview. It's one of the Romania castle that must be visited. Have fun 😊

It's true, there's not a lot of furnishing in the rooms, but the labyrinth of passages to various rooms and towers not to mention the striking exterior makes it worth the drive! Parking is in a lot at the bottom of the hill for 15-20 Lei. There are a couple of Romanian style souvenir shops in the parking lot. Guided... More

A must see if you're in the region. Amazingly kept castle - huge! I really enjoyed my tour. Definitely wear good grip shoes as there are a lot of slippery stone stairs - lots of stairs but worth the trek up & down as the views are unbelievable!

We enjoyed this castle, it was beautiful and large. We would recommend seeing. I recall the outside appearance more than the inside. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

If you like medieval castles, then you will not want to miss this one! Stunning castle from the outside and you can visit all through it. They didn't provide any guides but did have an audio guide available. Make time to visit this castle and you will not be sorry!

First off, note that this castle is a bit off the beaten path. I had tried to hire a guide to bring me from either Sibiu and Bucharest, and nobody was available (granted, I was not flexible on what day I wanted to go). I ended up renting a car for a few days in Romania anyways, so was able... More
