You can get there from Campitello di Fassa, via shuttle (four trips a day), via the Salin road, the point where it leaves.
The one-way ride costs 10 euros per person and takes you to Rifugio Micheluzzi (1860m)
and behind the refuge you cross the beautiful valley walking on level ground, it presents itself as a wild natural beauty, you can even hear the marmots whistling.
The landscape is truly beautiful, it feels like being immersed in a postcard, and on the left the stream, meadows as far as the eye can see with stupendous peaks that frame it (in the background the famous Teeth of Terrarossa).
Continuing you arrive at the Brach hut (1900m), here there are fun wooden sculptures.
Absolutely worth seeing!!!!

Val Duron is probably the most beautiful of the side valleys of Val di Fassa and one of the wonderful spectacles of the Trentino Dolomites. From the Micheluzzi refuge, an enchanted valley opens up and in the background the fascinating Denti di Terrarossa and on the left stands the majestic Catinaccio group. The first stretch is entirely flat and allows you to admire the splendid nature that characterizes this valley through soft pastures with some huts and small wooden buildings and the fresh waters of the Duron river that flow in the center of the valley: it seems like you are in a postcard! ! We also see some marmots along the way!! After 20 minutes on foot we arrive at Baita Lino Brach

Beautiful valley, walk through the woods avoiding traffic. Recommendation to go up parking from the hotel Caminetto Canazei. Avoid Campitello's shuttle. Once in the valley you can then continue to the summit. Easy walk also suitable for families. Not if you have a stroller

You gotta walk for a while for get there! But when you ll finish you ll enjoy deeply mountains vibes! Maybe the best mountain valley i ve ever seen in my life, I used to go with my family since i was a kid! and it still a traditional trip right now! Really check it out in summer, you could also stop in there eating some amazing regional food!!

Lovely place to walk with some great food stops along the way, if you have walking sticks it's handy to take them, steep in parts

Walked direct from village up into the valley. It is quite steep at start especially in the heat but well worth it as you emerge into a beautiful valley walking through farm lands

We walked up to this as we were at a loose end on day. We walked out of Campitello to the village of Pian and then out towards the valley, at the first watering hole there is an alternate path that leads up to the left it shows that it crosses the river twice and rejoins the main track/road. This takes you away from the cars and bikes but beware about 100 yards there is a forest track to the right, unless you have mountain goat blood in you don't go this way we did and lost the path and were faced with a near vertical climb through the forest to regain the track. When we eventually got out of the forest the sight of the valley is amazing. From the Rifugio Micheluzzi after a coffee or beer you can keep going up to the higher slopes and on to the Col Rodella for a ride down in the cable car or continue along the valley for some magnificent views of the mountains. Do not be tempted to pick the flowers as this is illegal. To return you can go back down the main track/road or recross the river take the track up the slope to the right and back to Campittelo via the Val de Dona.

Always beautiful and spectacular, certainly to see and travel it all; but what about the prices of the shuttles (and not only ).... excessive to cover only a few KM. a theft that not everyone can afford.

For non-lazy walkers within walking distance from Campitello both uphill and downhill, otherwise shuttle to the Micheluzzi Refuge with shuttle. Very long waits. For the lazy you can stop at Micheluzzi which offers good things served by a staff of very nice and kind young people. Or continue with a varied offer of routes all interesting and surrounded by wonderful nature.

Written July 20, 2019

of course you can!you just have to leave your car in Campitello than you fallow the indications to val duron rifugio micheluzzi. the first part of the way is a forest street.when you reach baita fraines (about 10minutes from parking)on the left you see the beginning of the path that goes through the wood.
