A 15th century palace, home of the Deans of the church, expanded to receive kings & popes when travelling through Tudela, that became a grander one for the Bishop, was restored at the end of the 20th century into a museum. It was inaugurated in June 2000.

A 16th century ceramic tile mosaic mural and a stone figure of the Spanish battle are on display in the lobby. The lower level has all the gold and silver works, beautiful artistic pieces, collections of the Cathedral and churches of Tudela. The altar pieces and ornaments hall are amazing displays.

Oil paintings on canvas by Vincent Berdusán, a renowned painter of Navarre, are indeed a delight.

The Cloister contains Islamic & Christian archaeological remains. Ornaments from the old mosque in Tudela are some of the interesting pieces. The East Gallery is linked to the Chapel, which is considered to have been the Old Synagogue of the city. Documents in Hebrew are on display, lamps and other reproductions of a 17th century census.

The museum is at the Old Square (Plaza Vieja), which was where the Main Mosque was located. Cantilevers, similar to the Cordoba mosque are incorporated in the church. Not far away is the Jewish Quarter Square (Plaza de la Juderia) and San Anton, the only fountain from the many that Tudela once upon a time boasted.

Amazing cathedral and religious art work. The dates are astounding. The Building art and woodworking skill are humbling in our Modern world of computer design and materials. Peaceful reflection and awe for what has been achieved before us.
