I visited the winery on a sunny Saturday morning with two friends. We called the day before and easily arranged the tour. We had two guides - one explained the wine making process, the other translated in brilliant English. We tasted some red wine that had only been filtered once then we tasted an interesting white and finished red. There were little snack accompaniments. We finished the bottle of red sitting in the beautiful grounds. It was such a lovely visit and very personal. The people that run this winery are obviously passionate about what they do, I would definitely recommend! The tour and tasting lasted about 1.5-2 hours and only cost 7euro! They also had some beautiful pottery which we bought!

We spent a sunny Saturday morning at Espacio Lugus, touring the winery and tasting the different wines. Our guides were very welcoming and knowledgeable and we learned about the history of the area as well as the wines. They also served some tasty snacks: fresh cheese with homemade borraja jam. I especially enjoyed their grenache. A great day out in Calatayud!

Interesting place, including making of ceramics, teaching women entrepeneurship, making organic wine. The place is full of dedicated, intelligent and humorous people who know a lot about the area, the history and the nature. If you get a chance to participate in an arrangement here, I can give you no better advice, than: Do it!
