I thought this place was depressing. A very thin jaguar alone in a small pen, some animals in pens without water or any plants- concrete prisons. Animals shouldn't be stolen from the wild and put such poor conditions for any reason.

This place was about a 45 minute walk from Leticia. It's something somewhat interesting to see/do while in Tabatinga. We had the whole zoo to ourselves. The monkeys at various exhibits seemed quite interested in us visitors, coming and staying right at the fence. According...More
