Visited this place after the cheese factory. The place consists of a farmer's market, cafe, food court and food stalls. Purchased some fruits from the farmer's market and they were definitely a cut above the kind we get back home. Had a snack and cuppa at the cafe to refuel.

There is a food court consisting of a Japanese burger joint, ice cream shop, bakery, cafe, farmers market, and couple more food stalls. There are restrooms and vendos. Don't be fooled. Nothing to buy if you're a tourist.

Nice cafes and shops. Family type place. The onigiri (rice ball) shop at the annexe and the spring roll shop were good.

We were mildly disappointed. I thought this would be a bustling market place selling local produce / Furano specialties but there was only 1 small supermarket selling fresh produce, 1-2 small shops selling decorative/ household items and the rest of Marche 1 and 2 were stalls / little shops selling food. We weren't there for meals so we finished walking... More

The local produce here is of high standard. The strawberries we bought here were really sweet. The children had ice cream and we had very nice cream puffs with coffee at the cafe. Overall, a nice place for a short stop for our drive in the area.

We went to shop for local produce and were happy to stop at Furano for selection. An excellent spread of gourmet condiments but less of fresh produce. I was very surprised to see onions were selling at 100 yen per kg bag!! Whilst in Hokkaido we had the tastiest rice and I would have loved to get some back home... More

I was quite looking forward to visiting the Furano Marche, after trudging down the road thruough the snow and easily finding the Marche, I was a bit disappointed ! I imagined a much bigger market place, while what was there was interesring enough and, nice and warm, it wasnt really how I imagined it would be. I did buy a... More
