There were more than 40 different types of jam to sample before you buy. I like pumpkin jam the most. With so many types of jam, I’m sure there is one to please ones taste bud.

My son and I took a jam making class here. Even though it was like a previous reviewer said, and consisted just of you boiling frozen strawberries till it congealed, we found the class useful and now know how to make our own jams at home (never knew you didn't need pectin to make jam until we came to this class). To top if off, the strawberry jam we made was super delicious, sweet and super fragrant. It was so good, I found myself eating it right out of the jar.
Apart from the jam making class, this place is really a just a jam shop, but a very very pretty jam shop tucked in a corner of a forest with a gurgling stream running past it. Its inside is just as pretty, all done up with wood and soft lighting. And the array of jams sold there is simply mind boggling.
Besides the usual fruit jams, it also sold jars of Japanese red bean paste (very good. recommended) and black bean paste, as well as savoury pastes such as black beans with garlic. Sampling is allowed. If you have a sweet tooth - you may not be able to leave this place.
There is also a very cosy cafe with huge windows looking out into the verdant forest. It's really very pretty. Unfortunately, the cafe was not open when we were there and I'm not sure of the opening hours.
Do set aside some time to come here.

Love the variety of jams and to be able to taste each speciality. Apart from usual berries based jam, they also make red bean and chestnut jams. These are unique varieties, not seen in most shops. Jams quality are comparable to Karuizawa, if not, a level up for its varieties and speciality bean/plant/fruit types of jam.
Kids love trying all different type of jams especially with the cookies- who knew!

I initially shortlisted this place in my to-go list because Furano Jam Garden conducted jam making classes for ¥1000, according to their website. We were charged ¥1300 per pax for the class and we were surprised that the class was so primitive. The recipe only called for us to stir in sugar to the frozen strawberries or kiwi, depending on your choice of jam, and rremove the scum with a ladle, and pour the jam into a small jar. I trusted the establishment to have taught us some sophisticated way of making jam from scratch, but what we we shown was just too elementary and could have been done better. We left very disappointed and on top of that we splurged on a taxi ride to get there, thinking that we could access Rokugo Viewing Platform which is advertised as a nearby attraction, but it is a 2km trek up from the entrance of Furano Jam Garden to get to the Rokugo Viewing Platform, along a dusty and quiet road. The Anpanman shop next to the Jam Garden is not an attraction, unless you are a Japanese kid.
Given that the jams can be bought at Furano Marche, a convenient downtown emporium of all things made in Furano, I would conclude that a trip to Furano Jam Garden is excessive.

Jam and honey lovers dont miss this spot else you will regret!
Before this stop I didn’t know that there are so many varieties of jam and even salad dressings you can make from fruits, vegetables and honey. Their walnut honey is special and is limited.
My kids love to sample the jam with the freshly baked bread provided.

we took the twinkle bus Furano, and this jam factory was one of the stops.
it was crowded and we didn't have enough time given by the tour to slowly browse and buy products.
the jam bottle samples were quite messy and dirty, since many people scope and taste them.
the location is not really accessible. their webpage looks more fantastic than the actual shop, haha.
drop by if you have time and dont know where to go.

They have quite a variety of jams and you can try before you buy. They also have a lot of small bottles which you can bring back as gifts. What I like also is there’s actually 2 little kitchen one I think sells croissants/sandwiches and drinks, the other sell very nice hotdog and fries. Theres also the anmpan man museum beside it. Great for kids!

Decided to pop out and check out this industry - they have a very large selection of jams and you are able to try them all which is really good. I wish we had gone out the first day of our stay as we would have bought several to have whilst here. We were hoping to have morning tea there but they were not offering any options and their seating area had signs up saying closed - even a basic coffee/tea and a mini croissant with some of their jam would have been nice - may even get people to go and make a purchase. We are here in winter and summer may be very different. To our amazement there was a huge toy shop right next door - ANPANMAN - which we know nothing about but seems it must be very popular hear - seemed like a very odd place for a toy shop but whatever floats your boat - and yes we did go in to have a look - i am sure if you had little ones this would be a hit and cost you a lot of money.

This was my second visit.
My first visit was in 2007 and it was jam packed with crowd as it was the school holidays in Japan. Thankfully it was very much empty this round as you guessed it - not school holidays yet.
Jams of all flavors were available here. There was a corner where you could try most of the flavors by spreading them over bread and crackers.
Impressive and unique enough, Well set up.
Time your calendar unless you love the crowds..

Their jam are very good, fresh and delicious. It is about 30mins drive from Furano town, and we drove there. There isn't any public transportation provided. The lookout is not open during our visit because there is no flower yet(under blooming). July will open for public.
