It's your classic "factory" or "museum" which is really just a place for bus tours to buy stuff. You can see the factory through windows, but that's it really. It's charming, but it's not really an attraction. It's a picturesque walk from Furano through farm...More

For a foreigner it might be a bit difficult as there is no handy information to explain the cheese-making process in English, so on the self-guided tour there is nothing much you can get out from. However, there is a class which we didn't sign...More

I expected more special, seeing as we have had nothing but 'wow' food in Japan. We would very happily have these ice creams, cheese and yoghurts at our supermarket and we would have bought them all the time, but we weren't super amazed. Maybe it...More

A good factory tour of one of Furano's finest products. Get to milk on a model cow and then taste the many cheese on offer. One of the must see places in Furano

Try the classes here, they are in Japanese but we found them fun and easy to follow. Plus now we know how to make our own riccotto and butter!!

This is not a place for shopping, although there was a good range of cheese and cheese related products. We came here as it offers activities for the family. My husband and I and our 2 grand daughters aged 6 and 4, went for the...More

We had a rental car, if you are staying more than 24 hours in the area, then a rental car is a good idea.
