It's your classic "factory" or "museum" which is really just a place for bus tours to buy stuff. You can see the factory through windows, but that's it really. It's charming, but it's not really an attraction. It's a picturesque walk from Furano through farm country and for me was a welcome pit stop for an (admittedly very tasty) ice... More

For a foreigner it might be a bit difficult as there is no handy information to explain the cheese-making process in English, so on the self-guided tour there is nothing much you can get out from. However, there is a class which we didn't sign up but peeking in there are a quite families doing their own cheese which I... More

I expected more special, seeing as we have had nothing but 'wow' food in Japan. We would very happily have these ice creams, cheese and yoghurts at our supermarket and we would have bought them all the time, but we weren't super amazed. Maybe it was an expectation problem

The cheese factory section offers an area for cheese making classes (appears to be in Japanese) and sells an assortment of cheeses and wine. The factory area also provides a place to experience milking a cow and showing the history of cheeses around the world. There are only 3 types of cheeses for sample. There is also a cafe to... More

Not a must stop if you are short on time. You need a car to get here easily otherwise it's either a taxi or local attraction bus which runs very infrequently. This is good fun for children if they want to make cheese. If you expect to see people making cheese during your visit, you'll be disappointed. It is busier... More

They do sell decent cheese and ice cream, but there weren't really any tour per-se. The farm itself is good sized, so do spent a little time walking the compound after the eating one of their real good ice creams. The cheese was not low end and the prices reflected so.

A good factory tour of one of Furano's finest products. Get to milk on a model cow and then taste the many cheese on offer. One of the must see places in Furano

Try the classes here, they are in Japanese but we found them fun and easy to follow. Plus now we know how to make our own riccotto and butter!!

This is not a place for shopping, although there was a good range of cheese and cheese related products. We came here as it offers activities for the family. My husband and I and our 2 grand daughters aged 6 and 4, went for the cheese making class. It was fun. The girls were proud to make cheese. They decorated... More
