Amongst the various places that I visited, Bagan is the most unique with lots of history. Check out the hot air balloon. Need to take out shoes at pagodas and monasteries so I suggest you can bring along a pair of slippers or even just wear the hotel bedroom slippers for all visits so that you need not bother about cleaning your feet after each visit. Some places do not have a place for you to sit down to wipe your feet or wear your shoes. Do not wear socks or track shoes as it will be cumbersome to take off and wear them after each visit.
