A very nice scenic fine-sandy beach, perfect for small kids. At some parts the water is really shallow for quite some distance offshore. A morning visit is much prettier as it is much less crowded than in the afternoon, when water gets a bit murky and the sea weed floats everywhere.

Zonza is a French town of 2,370 inhabitants located in the department of Southern Corsica in the region of Corsica. It is located in the mountains of southern Corsica, in a forest, at the intersection of the roads that connect Propriano, Sartène and Porto Vecchio from which it is divided by the pass of the Bocca d'Illarata, while it is connected to Sari-Solenzara through the Bocca di Larone .

The way to the tour is a moderate 10 climb from the road. The path is narrow and on both sides blooming shrubs and bushes in a wild prism of colors.
Once you get to the top you get a stunning view to the Concha bay in the north and to the fautea beach and coastline to the south.
The tower is locked although it seems that at one time it used to be open. This is another Genoese towers along the Corsican coast, and it is a great example of the architectural skills they had.

It is a nice and quiet beach ie never crowded (have been twice at different time). To get to the beach you need to park your car along side the main road and walk on a path for about 5 min.

Lovely beach. We stopped here for half day on our way from Bastia to Porto Vecchio. Clear water, it was not too busy despite being July. Relaxing.

We tried this on the way home from the mountains one day. The north side seemed better (with the tower on your right). You can park on the roadway but the walk is short. Small, fairly non commercialised. Excellent deep sand beach with lovely clear water. Interesting possibilities to swim round into neighbouring bays
