Kylemore Abbey and gothic church is well worth a visit. It is a former Stately home and Boarding School. The Sisters of the Order of Benedictine nuns still live here today.
Aside from the Abbey - there is a wonderful walled garded too.

Really beautiful location and walk. We took our 8 year old around the abbey and the church and she found it interesting. Didn’t get a chance to visit the walled gardens but the main gardens looked amazing
