    Not to be missed
The start of the waterfall hike is on the main road not the beach, just beyond the Sunset Cafe on the left. If you want to swim to the waterfalls, take rock shoes but you can leave your belongings at the side of the entrance to the waterfall. If you take valuables with you, ensure you’ve got a dry bag. The walk is 1.5km each way over a stony path but fairly flat. The swim to the falls is still over your head even in August so don’t bank on being able to wade. However, it so worth it. What a fantastic experience. One of the highlights of our visit to Samos. Absolutely brilliant. If you get the chance go up the rickety steps to Archontissa Adventure Cafe.

Fun adventurous but not for people with limited mobility.
Nice and adventurous sightseeing stop. If you wish to see all the falls you need to climb, swim and walk. Bring some water shoes! It's a tricky and steep way but if you have the condition and will You'll have a great time. 👍 if you only want to see the 1st waterfall ( all of them are small) you still need to swim a little bit. But then 30 min to 40 min you will be done. However if you decide to see and do all 3 will take you min. 2 hours. There's a restaurant that has a great view and the food looked great, however going up and down not so easy. I recommend having money with you as the card terminal might not work from time to time.

    glad we did it!
don’t be fooled by the rickety, unsafe looking staircase to the Archodissa restaurant on top of the waterfall. i waa hesitant but once on the staircase it felt and actually looked sturdy with many new pieces of wood nailed together. once at the restaurant . magnificant view, food and friendly service. the first waterfall was easy to get to with a little 5 min swim through cold mountain water. once there we took pictures so bring your waterproof phone or camera. the second waterfall was after the restaurant and a 15 min little swim ams wak through the water , once there a great feeling of accomplishment and beauty.

    Visiting Potami waterfalls and taverna
The path is graded 1 but only because it is a very popular walk, it is in fact grade 2 or 3 in places. Rocks to climb over and rickety part broken wobbly wooden bridges to cross with no handrails. It is a very scenic walk. The steps, about 75 or more, up to the taverna are very steep and difficult unless you are young and fit! I climbed up them but I wouldn't contemplate climbing back down! There are sturdy rough wooden branch handrails all the way up to hold onto with both hands, very needed! Fortunately there is an easy narrow road back to Potami from the taverna. The best option is to do the waterfalls, then return to car and find narrow concrete road with a taverna sign and then drive to near the taverna. only do the steps up to the taverna if you absolutely have to and have a good head for heights!

Beautiful place, in the nature. Nice clean path an easily accessible to the first waterfall. For those who like adventures they will find it exciting to continue to the next waterfalls. For the rest there is always the choice of the stairs that leads to the restaurant and the next waterfalls

Lovely walk through the woods alongside the stream/river which was a nice break from the heat in itself. The rickety stairs up to the taverna proved to much to take for a couple of our party so instead we stayed at the bottom and walked/swam to the first waterfall.

Several things to note. The water is cold but when it's 35c that is fantastic. It's not a difficult 'journey' probably only about 5m of actual swimming will be required for most adults, small kids will need to do more of course. If you have shoes/sandals you can wear in the water it is 95% easier than doing it bare foot. Finally I've no idea how you're supposed to climb out of the pool at the end to go up to the next waterfall.

The road to the first waterfall was ok, about 15 minutes but then you have to swim to even see it. To see the other waterfalls you have to go on the worst roads for 20 minutes and then you can’t even see it without having to climb in the water to see it for about 20 minutes more. If you love adventure this is for you but be prepared for a long walk and climb to even see it.

Amazing walk through the forest to the waterfalls. Requires some swimming to reach all the waterfalls so I'd pack accordingly and wear shoes you can swim with or hold above you. I am 6 foot 2 inches and it was swimming for me in parts and up to chest in others. Very nice time and refreshing with cool water. Go in the morning and the views are incredible.

A must to visit for those who love nature and waterfalls.
Hickers will definitely appreciate this experience.
Opportunity also to swim at the end of the Trail, is highly recommended.
You need about an hour or so to this trail and back.

Me and my boyfriend traveled to Samos for a relaxing vacation, but this activity was perfect. Beautiful surroundings and a nice walk through the water. We were there early which was perfect. The stairs leading up to the resturant and the big waterfall are quite scary, but you can chose to walk on the road to potami beach on the way back. It is worth it if you are afraid of heights. Wish you a pleasent trip.

By the road of potami beach follow the trail to the waterfalls. After a quarter of walking into the woods you reach the spot you will have to leave your clothes and personal belongings except if you have a waterproof case cause you'll have to swim for around 10m and walk into rocky waters to reach the first small waterfall, though climbing up and better shape is needed to reach the second biggest one. Beach shoes and swimsuit are necessary. The scenery definitely worths the effort.

A must visit place if you are in Samos.
A rather easy path leads you to the first "pond" from there you can choose if you want to swim/climb upstream or climb the breathtaking wooden stairs to the second pond.
We took the stairs and enjoyed a wonderful view.
My 7 years old daughter made the whole way up and down so do not be afraid to try.
Walking shoes are recommended although we saw many with flip flops, don't forget to take water with you.
