I was a bit concerned that this wouldn't be good value for money as I had heard the park was small. But as it turned out, we spent a very happy day there and were pretty much the last people out when the park closed in the evening! The animals are well cared for and are easily visible. The aqua parc only has three slides and a toddler pool with rubber rings but my two spent 3 hours in there going up and down the slides (9 and 6) and I had to drag them away. Children under 8 are only allowed to use one of the slides but even so mine went round and round again and again! There are a couple of little rides like a sky train and a water ride and a good adventure playground so really they should have been bored long before they were .... But they just loved it!

I am not a fan of zoos but Touroparc does seem to care for the animals as they look in good condition, especially the male lion who looks just as you would imagine Aslan to be! They undertake conservation projects in partnership with other organisations which is good. There are a range of other activities for children including a monorail, adventure play park and water cascade ride. I was impressed that we could re-enter on our day ticket as we chose to eat out although there are plenty of facilities at the park.

The two elephants were swaying it's trunk back and forth/walking to and fro/in circles which is a sign of stress in a captive environment. It made us sad. The zoo is interesting for a few hours but quite sad about the larger animals in small enclosures.

The animals looked depressed and still do not have big enough enclosures even though some of their enclosures were expanded recently. At some points I could not look at the animals as it was so sad. I will not be visiting again and would not recommend.

We are sorry that you didn't make the most of Touroparc.Zoo. All the teams are working continuously to ameliorate and optimize all the enclosures but you can understand that it takes time and investments. We are doing all our best to offer the best life conditions to our animals.

This is not a world class zoo, far from it... but for a small place, they really manage to deliver a nice family experience. They have a reasonably sized and varied animal collection and the human size of the setup makes it cozy, especially if you go during the week. They also offer kids classic rides (train, old cars...) and our 4 and 6 had a really good time...

The staff was very nice and went the extra mile to give us a good experience...

I would not travel to Romaneche to visit the park but if you're in the area with kids, this is a perfect way to spend time together

This place is really well done. We were surprisingly close to the animals who all seemed very well cared-for. Our two-year-old little girl was in her seventh heaven running around saying WOW mummy daddy look!
They had some beautiful species and a highlight for me was the walk-in tropical aviary where fabulous parrots were right on the walkways in front of us.

We have visited many zoos in France and this is not one of the best, but the collection includes an interesting variety of monkeys and apes.

The enclosures are generally quite small, so not ideal for larger animals. They were generally well kept and clean. The animals appeared to be in good condition.

The site is generally flat and there is shade. The site is child friendly and provides a good day out for families. The entrance fee is probably a little higher that other zoos we have visited. Do not except good food on sale, my advise is to take a picnic. There is a large car park.

Good activity for both adults and children. Parc is very nice and clean. Animals are also beautiful and you can
See all of them very well. You can see that the people working in the parc pay good attention to the maintenance of the parc and the animals. For some
Animals the spaces are rather small when you compare to bigger animal parcs. Due to Corona the water
Parc was not open, this was a pity because it was very hot and ideally You can do the animals and playground stuff before noon and the swimming in the afternoon. We had a great day with 6 adults, 3 younger children and a baby.

Touroparc was the first zoo I visited in Europe and I loved it.I have good memories of this zoo. I thought the animal enclosures were closer to their natural habitat compared to the concrete box enclosures that I saw in some zoos. It was spacious but you still feel close enough to the animals to admire them. The animals looked healthy and well taken cared of. My favorite were the white tigers!

You have a carousel and other games to entertain kids, definitely a kid friendly zoo! On top of that, there are plenty of spaces and picnic areas for families to have their food.
