Brinkburn Priory was a beautiful setting for the wedding. The grounds were not only beautiful for the photographs but also to visit. On the grounds of the priory there are also cottages to let, which are lovely. The whole day was quite wonderful.More

Tucked away off the beaten track, this places oozes atmosphere and history. The Priory (church) is lovely and relitavely unspoilt. The manor house next door is open but in a poor state of repair (funds awaited!). You'll need the guide book. And a very helpful...More

It's about 10 miles. A 2.5 hour walk, although in wedding clothes, probably best to go for the 20 minute drive.
