We found this walk after parking across the river and going across the footbridge back to town. It’s a really nice walk. Flat and accessible. Would also be good for a picnic with a play area.

The pathway upsteam is recommended - peaceful, great views, and not too taxing. Well worth exploring.

We enjoyed a lovely stroll along the river in Rothbury. The river was very high and running very fast.

This path is easy walking, offering well-made flat paths. There are walks both ways out of the village, about a mile in total. Lovely scenery with some items of interest

Along the river Coquet at Rothbury, we really enjoyed walking in both directions from the car park at the bridge. Good footpaths.

Lovely walk along the river, especially at sunset, when it is generally very peaceful. Friendly local cat will come and check you out.
